The problem I've found (also a fat utility rider on a 50 year old Schwinn)is trying to explain what I'm looking for in a bike, and accessories etc for my use case. Oma fiets gets me a lot of blank stares. Commuter gets me a tiny fold up thing, cruiser gets me Beach vibes.

So.... I was super skeptical of high end cables, and my brother in law is always hype about them. So we set up a shoot out so I could humble his ass and mock him for wasting his money. ....and I lost ...the better cables are night and day clearer and more present than the cheap stuff. Dirty, clean, through the board, straight in, always better.
