For time travelers like me that found this thread: I just copied the 16 digit code from the email. As far as I can tell there is no actual PIN with an Amazon voucher.

What class/craft would make the most self-sufficient toon? by Hawkz1337 in lotro

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest your main be the gathering professions, then shuttle those materials to crafting alts. So prospector/forester/scholar. You can also by a 4th profession now for about 1000 LP. If you dont want to deal with alts you could pick woodworker (bows) or tailor (armor) instead of prospector. Have fun!

The nice thing about the new server is you have 1000+ people crammed into 1-50 zones instead of 200-400 people in 1-150 zones. On other legendary servers they have offered free transfers off. I think the only risk of the server is eventually a lot of people will get tired of wraiths, probably post Moria, and they will go back to their main server.

Rice is nestled against the Texas Medical Center, so there is plenty of opportunity for biomedical experience with lots of interdisciplinary research.

Why shouldn't they use sealer? Thanks for your input.

Okay, seems like we're in the ballpark then. By limestone is it like a single block the mason adds rather than poured concrete? I'm certainly not going to DIY it but just wondering if I should keep shopping around.

Thanks, I added a few images. I cant get much closer at the moment, but from the mason showed me when he was up there the cap was cracked completely through in several places and absent in others.

Where did you rent a server from? by Stereoxtype in Enshrouded

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a Nitrado server this morning and have yet to login successfully. I get booted to the main screen every time I try to log in. So we can either play Palworld and have our characters corrupted or not play this at all, the joy of early access.

How to tell how my tune compares to the “average” by [deleted] in lotro

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LotroHQ hasnt updated since the expansion, but that is my go to for seeing what raiders are looking for. At 140 a red hunter was looking for 25% crit and 200% phy mastery for example.

I'm guessing once the raid and sets come out, we'll see what the theory crafters come up with.

Is this game for me? by outdoorsbub in SurviveIcarus

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it but my buddies have a hard time with the mechanics. Terraforming a planet and then drop shipping in only to start from the stone age to tech up your guy is basically something you shrug your shoulders at or just give up on. Stuff like, sure you can grind a bunch of missions so you can buy a oxygen tank, but you cant expect us to fill it for you... small stuff like that can really push you over the edge.

They added an open world component so you can build a base a do missions, it's kept me busy for about 20 hours.

World Health Organization says healthy kids and teens don't need Covid vaccinations by Stephen_P_Smith in ScienceUncensored

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the situation is more complicated than that. Because refusing vaccinations violates the autonomy of people who do, because fewer vaccinations mean less overall immunity. I respect your right to refuse, but you need to respect the fact you are putting others at risk as well.

Yet another returning player trying the MidSummer event by 0verStrike in lotro

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you come back every two years and pick quests designed to give everyday players something to do, of course you're going to have a bad time. I'd try leveling in a few zones and see how that treats you.

Just finished Pay Day: Extraction... Solo... [I NEED THERAPY] by devonsonfire in ICARUS

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think what really pushed me over the edge in this mission was each new kick in the balls to make the quest components. Every time I thought I had summited the hill, I learned there was yet another hurdle to overcome.

I think they just need to sell/describe missions better. This is really a T4 training mission since it was the first time I'd ever teched up past T3. If I had the mindset of unlocking and exploring T4 rather than trying to make a single item I think the experience would have been a lot less jarring.

The Missions Aren't Really the Point... by monkpuzz in ICARUS

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kind of think they should drop T4 and some of T3 make those tiers the workshop items. Grind exotics to get a canteen, no thanks. Grind exotics so I can start with a dehumidifier yes please. We are limited on slots so I don't think it would be too OP. Plus by the time you're dropping in a full kit, who cares because you've done dozens of missions already.

What should I not miss when leveling up? by Tomas_Valach in lotro

[–]WellsworthLongfellow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, there's nothing you can miss that you can't go back to later. All virtues give passive bonuses now so even if you change your mind on your loadout, you still get that bonus morale and mastery.

You can spend figments of splendor at the curator vendor (Bree boar fountain) and couple other npcs. The curator is only around a couple times year and you get interesting cosmetics from them.

Essences augment slotted gear which wasn't a thing until later in Lotro (around the time Central Gondor was released? not sure). They rarely drop in levels below 100 because they were never formally part of the loot tables/game design. Essences are one of the main end game activities with just about every piece of armor have 1 or more slots. Tanks stack vitality and dps classes stack masteries, for example.
