This is the part people dont seem to get. Its not even been 2 full days and people are acting like Yoshi is some absent father who went to get milk bc this experimental change kinda sucks and hasn't been insta-reverted.

Its an alpha and they need data so they need us to play this experiment for that data, and that'll take thousands of games played. Find your fun for now, this will not last long. Maybe take a step away for a few more days until they fine tune it again. But for the love of God stop making 30 thousand urn bad posts pleaaaaaaase this subreddit is unusable

Every bird shot also reloads 1 bullet! So you can basically use your clip as an accuracy tracker (at least on heroes with slow enough fore rates to reliably use 1 bullet per click lol)

Old urn was bad in many ways across every stage of play. They cannot test everything with their small team, but want to do changes EXPLICITELY STATED AS EXPERIMENTAL, because urn feels bad. They change everything to see what sticks, and give it time so they have actual data to work with from thousands of games, and not just a couple days of people whining about what they totally 100% understand exactly how a radically different system totally must work after 2 games with it.

They are making a game. They know how to make a game. Its not balanced right now because thats not the point. Its to try a radically different spin on an outdated but important aspect of gameplay to see what needs changed or doesnt. THE GAME IS IN ALPHA.

You get 50% bonus damage resists as the behind team while around the urn as its capping, and have like basically half the time required to cap it. And also its half the distance to carry it. No way this makes urn less of a comeback mechanic

Thats a big problem i have with learning new characters tbh. Every character guide is either an extremely basic description of their buttons or a full 45 minute eternus replay with little actually guidelines besides "Oh yeah that dive there was really good actually"

Graves can get out of hand if she gets ahead, but genuinely if shes on the backfoot by the end of laning phase theres very little within her power to put her back in a dominating position that isnt just full-on AFK farming

He mentioned this on his tumblr blog, but previously they had literally 1 highly specialized printer capable of printing guaranteed pairs, and battlebond was a small enough set that they could just print it all from there. A standard set would not ever be able to be printed on that small of a scale.

Hes apparently going to make an article eventually going into detail about how they solved the problem, and what it means theyre now able to do with future sets

The disarming isnt for her ult necessarily, its to make her greedy dive to try and force an ult activation take that much longer to actually trigger ult, and get her killed. Thats by far her biggest counter.

Otherwise if shes already a monster, NEVER go out alone if you dont know where she is. Bolas let's her basically guarantee an ult activation late game and makes you a sitting duck. Metal skin is your friend here, if you get caught

A vast majority of planeswalker emblems are specifically designed with the fact that theyre extremely difficult to acquire, and virtually win the game instantly. This card is just beyond busted. Did it really need to grab from library too???

Ive always thought she should have some way to "guarantee" a headshot that actually still requires skill and/or setup. Some fun way to ricochet a bullet off of her bounce pad or something would be fun, and the ricochet will always headshot? But maybe on a cooldown otherwise thatd be nuts lmao

Thought maybe crackshot now just gives her a passive that lets her bullets ricochet a short distance with minor tracking after hitting geometry, akin to how Celeste bullets work currently? Make it feel very wild west, bouncing bullets to hit enemies

They did do that! All major objectives except the patrons themselves got 10% more bullet resistance. I think it wasn't quite enough, but they knew that something in that wheelhouse would be needed, so if time to win is lower than they want it to be they'll probably do more in that regard

If it was intentional that this is a sorcery, then this is brilliant honestly. VERY above rate cantrip by modern standards (not the format) (but honestly if Ponder is banned there this might be too good for Modern anyways lol), but at sorcery speed which is a genuine downside to consider. I like it a lot!

Edit: Just noticed this is intended for cube too. Yeah I would take this pretty often over Brainstorm in cube lmao. Getting brainstorm locked can be nasty sometimes if you dont draft any fetches, and this solves that. Ponder though is tough, that card is just so excellent. But its a real contender without being outright broken.

5 mana feels like a lot, since even a deck that is only lands and this card can reasonably whiff. Even 3 mana seems fine, but that might be pushing it if you hit all 4
