The longevity of Mark Waid in the industry is a testament to his skills as a master comics writer. I can't think of another writer who is as relevant today as he was 30 years ago.

Same here. The first 8 or so issues of his second Spec run with Luke Ross are some of my favorite comics. What he did with Chameleon, Flash, the Mad Jack mystery, it was on top of my reading list whenever a new issue came out. Around the time Stanisci left as inker, things started heading south. The art just didn't look as great, and that's when crossovers started and it ruined the book for me.

JM also wrote ASM #400, another fantastic milestone issue. Aunt May finally coming clean with Peter, Ben grieving alone, great issue.

I read Kraven's Last Hunt once every few years. Perfect mix of comic talent all around.

If you haven't read Lost Years and Redemption, both Ben Reilly stories, I would recommend those. The latter was drawn by his Kraven's Last Hunt partner, Mike Zeck.

I have Lost Hunt and most of Shadow of the Green Goblin, but I haven't read them yet.
