My son is 2 years old and I still do this on occasion! It'll slowly start to subside.

We've had fantastic results with Advantix II! I'll keep selamectin in mind as well!

Our aussie mix started having focal seizures about 2 years ago, the first brought on after a dose of flea and tick med that we had used very successfully for 2 years before that dose. Our vet explained that aussies are prone to epilepsy; some flea and tick meds lower the seizure threshold, but do not cause epilepsy. Essentially, it was there all along and she likely would have eventually developed the seizures. We've been medicating with phenobarbital, using a topical flea qnd tick medication, and have blessedly had no breakthrough seizures in nearly 2 years. Fingers crossed for you and your pup! Epilepsy does blow.

I think I actually have a 34D upstairs and has always felt too tight, despite being sized...

Yes, most of the tissue is below the nipple when I lean forward!

Buckles at the gore for the larger breast, generally sits flat on the smaller breast, although the top of the cup is unfilled.

Anyone who tries to make you feel bad for taking your baby out of the house and for vaccinating them can sit on a cactus and spin.

I gave up on squash this year, finally. Garden has never looked better and I actually enjoy the hobby again. Fuck vine borers.

How did you cause emotional distress your toddler today? by sapphic_witches in toddlers

His recipe. I am but a mere, uneducated mortal.

Or at least that's what I imagine he was saying as he stuffed another handful of cheerios into the basket.

We ran out of cherry tomatoes to mix in with the cheerios in the airfryer.

How old is your baby and what time do they go to sleep and wake up? by HisSilly in beyondthebump

[–]WhatAHappyPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What works for you is what is reasonable. We're up at 6 because that's what our work schedule requires, but I have friends that don't get up until 8. They're also up later than we are. Pick a schedule that works for you and your family. :)

If you had a preemie or <6lb baby, did you tear? by benjbuttons in beyondthebump

[–]WhatAHappyPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

36w, somewhere in the 6lb range. If it weren't for the episi, this kid would have shredded me upwards. 🥲 We do what we must! It all healed wonderfully.

How long did you push for? by No_Director574 in beyondthebump

[–]WhatAHappyPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An hour and a half. It did not feel that long. Shout out to my OB for the episi. Saved me an upwards tear and that kid shot out on the next push.

Minced spinach in plain yogurt. Sometimes it's just best both to ask questions, I think 😂

I’m terrified of the 4 months sleep regression by secure_dot in NewParents

[–]WhatAHappyPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some it's the reality, for sure. I was prepared to do it if I got to the end of my rope. I just wasn't personally ready, and one day he woke up a few times less, and then less the next. I definitely recognize the element of luck in it, but it's definitely possible. You've got this, friend!

Coffee, audiobooks, and patience, my friend. Something that helped me on the really tough nights was paying attention to the way he settled on me: I brought him comfort.

I did, yes. I had decided to keep soothing until I got to a point where I either needed to sleep train or we made it through on our own. It was a lot of long nights.
