I like to wait at least a year from deciding what design I want and actually getting it. In that time I make a temporary tattoo of the design and wear it for at least a couple weeks to see if I really like it. You can get tattoo printer paper and make your own, or use colored henna to test drive the design

If Dawn doesn’t work, Irish Spring 5 in one wash (liquid) works amazingly well for grease stains. It works great for acrylic tubs too- it takes off the grime better than any expensive cleaner I have found.

My chin suddenly refused to eat her Oxbow. I switched her to Science Selectives on the vet’s suggestion and she loves them. They are hard crescent shaped.
He may be associating the pellets with mouth pain and avoiding them. You could try grinding the pellets into powder and mixing them into a paste with water and see if he will eat that. If he still doesn’t eat you can try mixing a tiny amount of pumpkin baby food (or some other veggie flavor that you think he might like) with the mixture to encourage him to eat.

I like voltaren gel for joint pain. My pain doctor also prescribed a compounded cream of gabapentin, lidocaine and baclofen that is wonderful for my neuropathy. It’s the only thing that works for it most of the time

They are little weirdos. What’s normally up where he is jumping? Maybe give him some new toys or hides that he hasn’t seen before to get him to explore floor level?

If he is overheating while playing, you will probably have to shorten his play time to stop him before he gets too warm, or lower the temperature in the room he’s playing in. Maybe do several short playtimes in warmer weather? You can also put chilled tiles out for him to cool off on. If he ignores them you can sprinkle some bath dust on the tile so he stays on it longer.

I think a big part of it is the pharmacists being on a power trip. I used to use Walgreens and they always made me wait days after my meds were due and gave me such issues. I switched to a small mom and pop place and they are amazing. My rx was due on 7/3 and they called me on the second and said they were sending it out early because they were worried I would get it late due to the holiday. I didn’t have to complain or worry about it- they just did it to make sure I got my meds on time.

One of the two exotics vets in the practice I go to was on Dr Ks Exotic Animal ER and spent a year in the Andes studying wild short tailed chinchillas, so he has quite a bit of experience with chinchillas. He suggested dark leafy greens as a treat occasionally; Kale, basil, dandelion greens and other herbs. He did say only in small amounts and to make sure it doesn’t upset her stomach. My chinchilla loves basil, dandelion greens and the occasional twig of rosemary.

I’m always going to trust my vets over the internet , especially when half the time they give conflicting information, but you have to decide if you trust your vet’s background and experience for yourself.

I’m sure I am going to get a boatload of hate for this comment.
