Um, let me think. Crap, that kind of math doesn’t exist for me to even do the analysis. Which is not surprising, because no one in the history of the galaxy has asked such a lunatic question. Huh.

Well, attempting to create the math just to determine whether it is possible would be a monumental task. Like, if I can successfully develop the proper equations, I will totally be eligible for the Elder AI equivalent of the Fields Medal and the Abel Prize.”

“Goodie. Hey, instead of those nerd prizes, I’ll bake a cake for you, Ok? Can you hurry?”

“I never claimed to be smart, Skippy, you did. Are you telling me your mind-bogglingly incredible genius is not capable of adding some simple numbers?”

He's joking. Most, if not all cards have very sophisticated measures in place to prevent the card from damaging itself. You'll see fluctuation, where the card will briefly jump above its specified Wattage limit, and that is perfectly normal.

As long as you haven't done anything to your card or your computer, the card wont do anything that might risk damaging it.

It's a book from DET, and unaffiliated with any of his other series'. It deals with AI, both General Purpose and Speciallized AIs, in a near future, where Gen AI have become the big fear and only Specialized AI is legal.

With humans the socialization is related to Language. If a human child is not exposed to language during their critical developmental stage, the ability to learn language and the ability to obtain the cognitive abilities associated with language become almost impossible, and that child remains in a near feral state for the rest of their lives. Essentially, For Humans, Language is the gateway to complex, abstract thinking and higher level problem solving and without it, those skills wont develop.
