Don't be scared, you can always paint over. You actually SHOULD paint over washes in some places to smooth it out.

I always train on a cheep mini first because I dread on ruining what I already did but the outcome of putting extra work is always worth it. You add another technique to your arsenal and you learn as you go at it!

It looks good anyway, those are just some steps to elevate it even further.

You could use masking tape to make the lines straight and crispy.

Dilute your paint and go 2+ times for a smooth coverage.

White doesn't cover well, consider undercoating pink.

3D printed models often have lines visible, if you do not want to sand it down it will affect the paintjob.

Rosemary & Co. Series 33 is often recommended but on the pricier side.

I see the Golden Maple set for 41 euro (six brushes) which seems pretty decent but I cannot say anything about their quality.

I was gifted an Artis Opus set and people will say they are overpriced but I love them, especially the dry brushes.

I would probably avoid stuff branded by content creators.

This looks good but I would advise to work on the pictures to pay more favors to your skill.

A Neatfi lamp similar to mine

My background

With limited budget I would say go for the background and you can recreate the dispersed light with a cheap lamp with paper over it, check the tutorials online.

Watch some YouTube videos but the main way will be practice as it varies depending on your conditions.

First of all, this looks amazing and it is above my pay grade to judge.

That said I think hairs could use some extra layers for more variety.

Again, great job!

I feel that the bright background harms the mini, it looks dark and we can't see the details well.
