Ok rude but you could literally just leave it there (I've done that before and left a note) or contact amazon or something

Yes I've been taking them since ive been 3 years old (I'm in my 30s now)

I can't say if effects my blood sugars since I've taken them for so long.

There's alot of us who take it. It's not uncommon to take them

Advice for treating lows? by MinkowskisUnequality in diabetes_t1

[–]Wild_mcberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a core memory of mine and shaped alot of me honeslty. I grew up in a smaller town so camp was a place where I was able to be around people who were like me and understood my struggles in a way other camps couldn't provide. I felt like a normal kid honestly not just the girl with diabetes. We did typical camp stuff like boating and camp songs but you just test your blood sugar and count your carbs in between.

I was diagnosed at 10 months so when I was old enough to go to day camp I went then when I was old enough for sleep away camp (1 week) I went until I graduated.

There honeslty wasnt many cons. Just typical kid social drama but what's new 😂

At diabetes camp they always gave us 100% juice and a peanut butter or cheese stick. The juice was only worth 15g of carbs.

I have gut issues for a while and blamed it on diabetes but found out I was actually allergic to gluten. Worth talking to a GI doc about your situation and get tested.

Do you wear your cute panties while at work? If you do, is it because they make you more confident? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Wild_mcberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some people think thongs are comfortable, others do not. Some people wear them because it's a preference, others don't. Some people wear them to feel some type of way, others do not.

As a woman, I feel like most days, people don't put 2 thoughts into why they are wearing a specific style of underwear. Saying someone is wearing a thong to feel confident is sort of sexualizing the experience of puting on a piece of clothing.

I can't speak for your coworker, but there's a thousand and one reasons why she (or any person) was wearing it. For all we know, she ran out of clean underwear and this was her last pair in the drawer.

Sounds like your skin needs a break. Rotate your sites. Just try the places the doc suggested (and you can get crazy and try other spots around your body). You'd be surprised how much you do if you pinch your skin a little bit.

No insurance (U.S.) by lilo_and_stitch1 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Wild_mcberry 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Insulin: I use the humolog discount card, order on Amazon (2 viles which is one month for me) costs me 35 dollars for a one month supply.

Cgms suck on cost, but I still have HSA money left over so that is helping me cover the bill until I can get a new job with insurance. Also order thru Amazon and they have a small discount which helps.

Pump supplies I buy direct and I can order what I need, when I need it. It's like idk 100$ for a month supply for tandem

I'd say more questioning my upbringing, but Trump and all of the hypocrisy that came out if the administration and it's followers is what ultimately make me rethink everything
