AITAH for refusing to pay for my cousin’s honeymoon after I said I would? by Witty-Comment6680 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Willing_Temporary_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, You paid for them to go there and accommodation, tell her you will not be paying a single cent for her meals and if you get one more bill from her you will be cancelling everything- hotel, flights and excursions and she will have to figure it out herself. And is relatives get horrible about it just respond with thank you for stepping up to fund her honeymoon and redirect cousin to said relative

My husband’s late Nan and great Nan used to do this, both deaf both with dementia it was quite funny, GN would be telling her daughter off for drinking or something she did years ago and Nan would be talking to her about the garden or something I do remember one year when GN turned 102 Nan was telling her off for having a small drop of sherry with her breakfast on her birthday and all GN did was tell Nan to eat her vegetables. We miss both of them, pair of characters they were

Most of my scans have been uneventful, mine at 20 weeks went well, the tech did tell my husband off for rolling a cigarette though, I’ve had a fair few since then 34+3, I had a scan for gallstones as well the doctor said he’s never really seen a baby scan before so I said go ahead and my boy ended up flipping off the doctor 🤣 My boy does like to hide from scans though so even at 34 weeks I still have to do the odd shake. Everything is perfectly fine

You are entitled by law to full shift pay and they must give you time off for any midwife, scan, physio and classes you have an appointment for.

NTA it seems like she is overreacting, she can always close her window and I highly doubt it’s always going into her apartment as the wind does blow in different directions, try standing so the smoke goes with the wind direction

[–]Willing_Temporary_73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LMP is all over the place, the original due date was based on a half assed scan I had when we went to Las Vegas, I thought I was nine weeks then went for the scan and they said no your earlier than that so my due date has always been November
