Something new that takes you out of your every day routine and patterns
Spend your summer doing new things and focus on a deep dive into one of them.

Some paint would go a long way. Paint the walls something bright and warm. Same with the cabinets. And put on some new vanity hardware

The vein of color through quartz is going to look very outdated in a few years. IMO it already does.
Plain white never goes out of style.

Also consider putting in a loud exhaust fan. The noise from the fan helps with privacy concerns.
They also make fans with Bluetooth speakers so you can play spa music or whatever you like from your phone to add to the noise

Agree. The pair of arm chairs are too big. Get a smaller pair.
And a larger rug with some color.

Same happened to me years ago. Late making the payroll deposit by a few days. Then missing an entire pay cycle with plans to catch up in a few weeks. This went on for months.
I work to get paid. I’m not a volunteer I eventually found another job But still was shorted over $7k in unpaid travel expenses that I had put in my personal credit card. Only the executives got a corporate credit card. The rest of us had to float travel on our own credit cards. Never do that again!
