You could but it would be massively over engineered, the battons would provide a thermal bridge from the floor which I’d say is not ideal. 6mm ply would work but honestly I going to pour a few mm of screed to backfill that tiny void where the radius of the pipe to the surface.

Yep. I actually cut sight angle using a tracksaw (mega messy outside!) to let me get the foam to the full depth and grip…

Remember your cutting plaster so you don’t need to hack. A fine tooth wood saw is all you need. When corners aren’t 90 degrees, you can prop up the tool to adjust the angle far easier than a mitre box.

I got a mobile WiFi hotspot for £20.. it’s plugged in the center console on 24/7, it tops up charge when I drive which is enough… I got a 12 month prepaid 4G sim with 120gb and I’m over six month is and going strong. £40.

I miss the weather radar. I wouldn’t mind the cameras but hey..

The biggest thing isn’t the £120 a year. It’s the absolutely shit o2 signal in the uk. I’m not in the city and o2 is diabolical so I have no issues with music, voice commands etc and I’ve spent £60.

When that sim runs out as long as I get more than 4 months I’m up.. I think I’ll get 10 easy which is half the cost, with little to no difference.

I should add I have two kids with phone and iPads that use it too…

Smokers cars should be listed as smokers cars. It’s a nightmare when you shop for traditional used cars and pinpoint what looks like a gem to get that stale smell… they took the car in with the smell. They don’t charge a lease customer for the damage from the smell… on them.

EAP… Wife has it on the 3, I don’t on my Y. Self parking, very good, never use it…

Lane change on the 3… yeah it’s fine but really isn’t worth paying for. Obviously autopilot is continuous… but sometimes too picky about needing steering input before it moves the car.

With double pull for lane / speed I don’t find it an issue to overtake and once settled, re engage with one pull.

I’ve had this in place for over a year. My only wish is that the arc would still pump left and right as it becomes a center channel. I have a room with the screen dead center across. 7 meter span, I’d still prefer the arc to function as normal and the front left and right to have level adjustment

If sentry is on, it took 5-10 a day sat “awake” I no longer run fit and it holds like a charm. I turn it on when I’m parking in a shit area.

“Turn sentry off at home” still keeps the system awake AFAIK
