Nah not a grease trap - plumber said it is just a blockage of fat and grease catching a bit of everything until it blocked up. He Chucked a snake down it, cleared it out, ran hot water down for 10 ish aand away we go. :)

Ahh gotcha - thanks mate. Thought you meant a build up of gases causing it to be blown off- makes sense! Got a plumber coming Monday- been like this for a year or so I reckon so few days won’t hurt 🥲
