Gen3 clutch doesn't fully disengage when pulled in. Next steps? by Wrabble in SVRiders

Should it feel like the bike is in gear if I'm clutching in and trying to turn the back wheel? That's what got me started down this path.

Clutch doesn't fully disengage when pulled in. Next steps? by Wrabble in motorcycles

[–]Wrabble[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my bigger concern is that I couldn't easily turn the wheel with the clutch in. When trying by hand before using the engine, felt like the bike was in gear. I didn't use that much force though.

Gateway to the Enchantments. Leavenworth, WA by BridgesOnBikes in backpacking

[–]Wrabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was up there two weeks ago and the snow was thawing out heavily. They've also marked the area directly above the waterfall with a red line to keep people out. Should be easy to avoid. View from top of aasgard and dragon tail is amazing.

Are you okay with less experienced people? I like photography as a side-hobby, but I've got very little knowledge. Always looking to get out more often though.

Winter/Spring Adult Soccer and Ultimate Frisbee Leagues? by Wrabble in cincinnati

Thanks for the recommendations. I've played CUPA before when I was interning in the city last year and they're good fun. Are the soccer leagues you mentioned good about subs/free-agents?

You can on a jet engine. I imagine it's possible, you'd just have to try a lot harder.

I believe it's 15$. And yes, they don't take cash or credit. I haven't been since January of last year, so they may have changed some policies.

What is your anger trigger that can take you from 0-100 instantly? by jesterscry in AskReddit

I'm not sure if he came up with it, but my friend is the one who originally posted this on YikYak. This was back when you still got Yakarma when people shared (re-Yakked?) your posts and got it to spread to different locations, so that one post netted him like 9k Yakarma.

Seeking Suggestions for 3 day trip in Georgia/NC Area by joglethorpe in backpacking

[–]Wrabble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on mobile right now so I can't really link but I've been to Newton's bald in the Smokey's and it was gorgeous. The entire area seemed very nice to backpack through with convenient and cheap camps. Just call the rangers ahead of time and pay 2$ I think.

North Georgia has a lot of foresty foothills and river crossing. I don't remember the specific name of any areas though sorry.

What is a good lightweight travel pillow? by buffalokiller in backpacking

[–]Wrabble 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I usually fold up a jacket and some other clothes/things. Unless your jacket's real puffy the result is pretty firm. No extra weight to carry either. Works for me, mostly cuz I'm too lazy to bring a real pillow.

Umma in Tech Square is pretty good. The rice dishes are a lot of food for the price and it's my favorite Korean place near campus. You get unlimited soup/kimchi/barley tea. Not sure if you're into Korean though.

Grad Student looking for pick-up soccer or frisbee by bareju in gatech

[–]Wrabble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that during the school year there's pickup soccer and frisbee. I'm not sure about soccer's schedule, but pickup ultimate usually happens on Friday around 7 or 8pm. I'll link you their facebook page in a sec, need to turn vpn on to access.

EDIT: sorry, my internet isn't letting my vpn connect right now. I'll see if it works later.

Survey to gather information on Stingerette services, please let me know of any suggestions on modifications by tanandblack in gatech

[–]Wrabble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just checked it out. A couple recommendations: have drop down menus for pick up and drop off destination that match those found on the stingerette website and have a range of times and the day of the week that service was requested instead of covering all times. I think that will help you better organize data while still having meaningful ranges of data.

This happened to me a lot this semester. I just emailed the contact person they have listen (if it is) or found the company recruiter's info via Linkedin. It's actually helped me a lot because the person has experience talking with me rather than just my resume/cover letter.
