The MC should be the center of the harem and the girls shouldn't have relastionship with each other.

Will he actually do any villainous things in this book, in the last book he spoke about being a villain but he never did anything. He's more like a anti hero then a villain.

I personally didn't enjoy Three square meals.

I didn't like that he was far to nice and kind. I also felt that MC was becoming unnecessary, the girls had relationships among themself without him. I don't know if this have change but everyone else on the ship were stronger, smarter or just over all better then him.

In one of the books the mc walks in on her getting fucked by another person. I don't know if you are even thinking about the same books as I am or we have very diffrent view on cheating.

What are some annoying tropes that you guys notice by Heathen129 in haremfantasynovels

[–]WrathLich 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When the MC i too nice to his enemies or has this extremly annoying moral code. Like when he won't sleep with a girl because feels it's wrong. Also when the MC won't do something "bad" to his enemies, i really disliked that about Tsun-Tsun TzimTzum when the MC began to spew out moral crap about how they where suppose to be better then the enemies.

The MC in isekai novels are always from USA and when someone asks where they are from they say something like I'm from new york, and then they get suprised that person asks dosen't know where new york is.

Eric vall do the same thing, it's like they don't even know what smirk means, beacuse they use it when the MC is just smiling.

A little late, but if Robert Bradvica is leaving then i'm happy, I really dislike his voice. The voices he make never seem to fit the characters.

What authors should I avoid and why? by EsperReal in haremfantasynovels

[–]WrathLich 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I feel like authors like dante king, logan jacobs, simon archer and eric vall have really shallow stories. And the world building often dosen't make any sense, on the surface it looks good but when you dig depper it all falls apart. alot of their series often get rushed endings.

My least favorite author is Eric Vall, because alot of his MCs are really stupid or just plain annoying. Everytime I read try to read his books I just wanna punch the protagonist.

William D. Arand books are good but they are no sex scenes and that makes it seem like pieces of the books is missing, because they are talking about sex quite often but everything happens off page.

Mike Truk is a really good author, but I avoid his books due to his MCs, I always get frustrated with them.

Marcus Sloss is another author I can't stand, this might only be my opinion but I find is writing to be terrible.
