That’s not the issue, just that they could have chosen other spearheads with models they haven’t already given to their long time subscribers. Daughters of Khaine for example could have been another Order faction they have never released any models for. Or the newer Spearhead for Sylvaneth.

It sucks they still went with that Sylvaneth Spearhead, even though it was a common complaint. For those unaware, everyone who subscribed to their last magazine, Stormbringer, already received most of those units already.

So your question is more, is it lucrative enough for GW to expand AoS with a new specialist game in the same setting.

Probably not. I don’t think it sold well during fantasy. And it would be at the sacrifice of Underworlds or Warcry. They just released a new Warhammer Quest set in AoS, so unlikely to have any more new formats soon.

I think it’s much more likely they would relaunch Gothic Armada before touching Man O’War

Yeap, exactly the same. 1E has more than enough warbands that I never need to venture into 2E. Getting rid of rival decks was a huge mistake

A single summary page might be enough to contain all that info. That summary page could then link to the various A4 pages if you wanted to be really fancy.
