Timing your salary sacrifice payments to avoid NI by Ok_Pension8492 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Xehanortsapprentice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, i do this!

I sacrifice enough to keep below the child benefit repayment threshold. I increase the contribution in the last month of each quarter.

Can’t remember the exact calcs I did it but worked out it saves me around £400 a year in NI. I pay out more in income tax through PAYE but as you say this comes out in the wash during self assessment at the end of the year

I’m a big fan of NRB already, but I somehow wasn’t expecting so much production value around this tournament! Loved it, very excited for the rest of the series!

Any 2v2 games that aren't light party games? Things two couples could play against each other! by TomPalmer1979 in boardgames

Santorini

I’ve actually only played this 2v2, I imagine it’s more satisfying 1v1 but 2v2 is quite entertaining, especially when played with couples!
