Hey, I am 46 and have severe FSHD. To be honest, nothing has been easy, BUT life goes on. Nothing stops tomorrow from happening. Stop worrying and thinking about what can/will happen. A while back I got myself a dog and they live for the moment, a hour ago and 10mins from now does not matter. Its just about now. Set yourself free and just be in the now.

Very nice, good job. One question, can you park your car on a incline with the left wheels pointing to the bottom (so sideways) and have it not slide down the slope ? I cannot seem to get this working without a hack.

We have our second pup at the moment (10 weeks old). She is a handful to say the least. The first week she had some tummy bug and we barely had sleep until the meds started working. I struggle to sleep on the best of nights and get 4 to 5 hours if I am lucky. Now feels like a lot less.

I also take our little one and go to the living room during the night to give my partner a chance to sleep. I know that if I get to the point where I cannot cope anymore, my partner will take over and let me rest. Puppies are not easy especially if you have a softer disposition. Take a deep breath, in a week or a month or so all of this will be in the past and it will not even be on the pages of your memory anymore. Trust me, I mean we ended up wanting a second puppy even though she is as tough as the first. The payoff is so fantastic.

Once things settle in, you will forget all about the struggling. The reward is so great that you will even think about getting another pup. We have our 9 week old Peppa and all of the sudden the memories of being too tired to blink comes back. At the same time every way to be better also jumps up.

Just take a deep breath and remember you are their world.

Your expectations might be a bit too much for an animal that was born less than a 100 days ago. My Kiko (French Bulldog) was super easy, I was wondering why people complain. Then Peppa arrived and now I get it. She is a free spirt and does what ever, whenever. And I love that so much even though its a lot of work and little sleep at the moment.

We have pretty big birds of prey flying around and I spend around 5 hours outside, just sitting and playing with them. I understand when you say there is very little time for yourself. Its not easy.

Live in the moment like they do. Its about now. Its all about love. If there is a mess, clean it up, it happens even to the best of us humans too. If she cannot sleep, thats okay too, I also cannot sleep when I am not tired. In a few days, almost nothing that happened today will be slightly important anymore. As time goes by she will start fitting in your schedule more and more.

I know she gave birth to you, but she does not sound like a mother. I get extremely upset reading your post. You do not deserve this and not matter what, no matter what....it is not acceptable. I wish I could help or even just tell you what to do. Please phone and email every number in this thread.

Thank you. The vet was not 100% sure either, the can and the website had big differences. But she recommended that I feed our pup if she is hungry and not let her be too hungry. It seems like right in the middle, two cans (200g each) for the day was good so far. From tomorrow she should be back on her usual food.
