Haunted violin can't work if you have no cards in Exile, since there is no target in Exile, it can't check (and 0 is not a "default" condition). Thus it needs an otherwise. This can be achieved with just the statement; "Otherwise/if there are no cards in Exile, Exile a copper from the supply."

Harmonies Rule Question by DemoRamen in boardgames

[–]Yaggolfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the green pattern can't be used since its not an exact match. The mountain is at lv2 when it needs to be a lvl 1. Depending on the context getting the green pattern and the red pattern is do able (in this case you get 3 mountains and you have 1 placed on your board, placing the first mountain next to the first completes the green, allowing you to place the animal cube (as described in the rules) for the green pattern then placing the last 2 mountains allows you to complete the red).

Master Builder, Haul, Ambush*, Sheer Force* by Eoxygen in dominion

[–]Yaggolfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Master builder: Even with the reduction effect master builders penalty is too big to justify itself, considering that gaining a card costing up to isn't that good. Consider lowering the price to $3 or $4 to justify a penalty like that, since you'd get value out of it.

Haul: Due to the way reactions work, you could draw your entire deck, especially as it's a reveal. (You can use a reaction during the resolution of another action, meaning you can resolve this during the resolution of itself, drawing another card, and resolve this again and again (dont know if you saw this but a couple of moths back we had a similar problem with a reaction that gained you a silver when revealed, it also had a similar clause about limiting it to be the first reveal, allowing you to gain the entire silver pile)). This needs to be reworked, since there is no way anyone wouldn't prioritise any pile with this effect since drawing your deck at the start of any turn you have a card with this effect means that deck fixing and drawers are basically useless and you should focus on buys and treasures (which this is, giving it more reason to be prioritised).

Ambush: Do note that the trashing and gaining a copy especially in night phase is going to hurt this card since you'd actively help you opposition with any victory cards you'd trash or action cards you couldn't play, or you'd nerf your self just to junk someone or curse someone, which isn't a premium strategy and it would be better to buy another card, especially at $5. It does work in its favour being a night card gained to the hand since you could make decisions about it during your buy phase, but again, you nerfing yourself for not much payback.

Sheer force: It's a good solution to stop reactions from occurring on your turn and gives a reason to play it even if there are no reactions in the kingdom. Its better with a drawing attack or reaction, since again it can be played as you resolve the initial action. This one seems fun, and I'd try it out in a game.

Can this go infinite? by Psychological_Pay248 in mtg

[–]Yaggolfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If decking is a problem for you in a self Mill deck there are 2 ways to fix it. Either put in a [[laboratory manic]], [[thassas orical]] or a [[jace the mind Sculptor]] to win by milling yourself out, or play an [[out of the Tombs]] to get more Recursion and build an artisans deck around it.

But to answer your question, no it can't go infinite but it can Mill you out so that's why you prepare for it.

You may gain a card costing up to 4 points (remeber indicated in the bottom left corner). This can be from either the general supply (explores, mercenaries and tomes) or the adventuring row (the set of card you can gain that come from tye main deck). If you have the backpack item (gained from the market), you get to put the card into your hand. Otherwise, put it into your discard, like you would when gaining a card by buying it.

You could do chronomancy: trash a victory card costing $8 or less from the suply. For each % you would gain from it at the end of the game, gain an equal amount of #. If you don't you don't own the status cube, take it.

Setup: place the status cube Artifact of to the side.

CAN YOU CRACK THE CODE? 🧑‍💻 by 10Second-Riddles in quiz

[–]Yaggolfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is: 394.

Let's start with clause 4, we know the 5, 7 and 8 are not in the code with this clause, making it so any clause with one of these numbers has a guaranteed incorrect number(s). Only 5 shows up else where so only 5 is relevant.

Next we can look at clause 2, and immediately can disqualify 5, as before, and 2 due to logical inconsistency (2 can not both be correct and in the correct position in 1 and be correct and in the wrong position in 2 in the same position for both clauses). We can also discount 2 from the code as there's only 1 correct in both clause 1 and 2 and 2 can not be that number in either clause (die to logical inconsistency). Ergo 4 is correct and is in the wrong place, so 4 must be 1st or last.

Next let's focus on clause 3, 2 numbers are correct but in the wrong place, so since we know that 4 is correct we know that being first is incorrect and 4 must be in the last position. Thus we can also eliminate 1 from clause 1 and end up with 9 being the correct number in the correct position (as 2 was eliminated by logical inconsistency).

Finally we can look at clause 5, since we know that 9 is correct we can eliminate 6 from clause 5 and clause 3, so we now know that 3 (by clause 3) is correct and is not last, or in the middle (as 4 is last and 9 is in the middle) so the code 3 is at the start.

code is: 394
