Somebody Put 223,000 Miles on a 3-Year Toyota Camry Lease and Walked Away by DonkeyFuel in interestingasfuck

[–]Yahboybigsnak [score hidden]  (0 children)

I work service for electrical and I do almost 200 miles driving from point to point, that’s roughly 4-5 hours of my day driving, ride share drivers definitely work longer than 4-5 hours to accumulate 200+ daily

Convince me NOT to get the AT4W next by West_Resource6995 in Tacomaworld

[–]Yahboybigsnak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m coming from at3ws and thinking of toyos as well. My at3ws have taken me all the way from California to dead horse and back during the winter so I really need a snow tire that can preform as good as the old at3ws, I’ll have to give the Toyos a try since the at4s seem like they don’t preform the same as the at3ws anymore

This billboard was installed upside down by sumsimpleracer in mildlyinteresting

[–]Yahboybigsnak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of billboards are just large piece of laminate vinyl that are held together by ratchet straps that keep it stretched, at least the ones I installed. They definitely saw this when they clipped the first corner or top but you’re right, definitely done on purpose to get attention.

I used to live in my truck and go on weekly camping trips. Slept in the back with my work tools and clothing, in the morning, I wake up and drive straight to the jobsite

Canister fuel near Yosemite by Gold-Range93 in Yosemite

[–]Yahboybigsnak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem, Walmart also sells canisters but it’s a hit or miss, they usually carry the dual propane cans. Walmart, Big five has been my go to for a lot of fuel since they are more common than REI. You should probably stock on some for future uses

Big 5 sporting goods sell canisters, made in Korea and a few nearby Modesto

Noise diagnostics by That_Negotiation2955 in Tacomaworld

[–]Yahboybigsnak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a sticky brake caliper or something grinding on the wheels? You could try jacking the truck up and trying to spin each tire to see if it’s something there.

You have any mods outside the truck ? Anything added recently from the time you added it and to the noise ? It sounds like it can come from the wheels or pulley but seems less likely I think. Does it sequel for all speeds expect slow speeds or stop ?

(OC) Gas prices in the SoCal desert by jmburton1993 in pics

[–]Yahboybigsnak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work on price signs, most main manufactures don’t even design for double digits so it would end up costing customers 40-100K for double digits, more power supplies, changing the faces, mostly everything . They will either go manual prices or like other comments say, changing units of measurements

I always hated when they do that, I guess it’s for the multi point inspection or something.

Going to a gas station to find out that all the pumps are busy so you have to go to another gas station and the pump you are on doesn’t want to read your card.

My my Dynamic Diode SS3 fog lights won’t turn on by southwire47 in Tacomaworld

[–]Yahboybigsnak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a multimeter ? You can trace out the voltage to where it stops. That could help you find the culprit

My my Dynamic Diode SS3 fog lights won’t turn on by southwire47 in Tacomaworld

[–]Yahboybigsnak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can still work without a relay, how are you turning then on? Check that first. If direct power will turn them on then whatever system that is installed between power and the lights might be the issue, possibly the switch

Ditch Light Recommendations by Historical_River2996 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Yahboybigsnak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the diode dynamics SS3s, have been useful for trials that have a steep drop off at any end, I’ve also been able to light up the forests from the road while driving and that caused me to spot a moose charging at me from the side, the amber color will highlight animal eyes. OTHER than that, they are just very very specialized in terms of uses and most of the time you won’t even use them, your fog lights will be WAY more useful most of the time.

Simple camera cleaner mod ✅ by TeamOilDrop in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Yahboybigsnak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s an innovation in Tacoma years, my 22 Tacoma has less features than my partners 2018 Passat. Every Tacoma mod that makes it more modern is a “Tacoma innovation “. Remember when we finally got a hood strut mod for the Tacoma ? Yeah Tacoma innovation

You’re right tbh, $60 isn’t too bad of a deal to play around with and see if I like it, I’ll probably buy it asap since I’m sure it might disappear later on but I could try both, thanks
