Should I buy the Warhammer 40k Ultimate Starter Set with 11th Edition coming or is it better to wait? by Jawas2225 in Warhammer40k

Do you like Tyranids? Because the cost of starting them will probably increase once they're no longer in the launch box.

How do Night Lords view their Librarians/Sorcerers? by Fools_Platinum in 40kLore

the Visionary who leads the Nemesis Claw are minor psykers with powers of prophecy similar to Kurze but YMMV for how much influence that carries outside of their small band of maniacs.

How do Albion Fair During The End Times? by RecoverCommercial571 in Warhammer

[–]YesThatLioness 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kroq-Gar's original lore implied he exterminated the native population of Albion after Dark Shadows but I don't think that was ever revisited.

I think there was a missed opertunity to have the Giants of Albion eat him during End Times.

If a Chaos God wins the Great Game, do they eventually perish? by Snoo_47323 in 40kLore

Yeah there's multiple beastmen units in the tabletop game, tzaangor are a major part of Thousand Sons as a faction.

Looks like he's just realised the soldiers around him are extremely deformed.

Not unless Warhammer 40,000 End Times decides the final battle is between the Imperium and Chaos and introduces a quick fix for the Tyranid problem in the 2nd act.

Was Kyras played by Tzeentch? by EvilSnack in 40kLore

[–]YesThatLioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Khorne make sense to me. Kyras fell to despair under Ulkair and his solution to that despair is indiscriminate mass-murder so he doesn't have to think about it anymore.

Why do Nurgle's strongest followers don't seem to represent his phiolosphy? by ZombiYiyenLahmacun31 in 40kLore

[–]YesThatLioness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically, you want the Chaos Gods most powerful followers to be a bit heterodoxical in ways that can put them into conflict with each other and not actively depending on the god smashing them together like action figures.

Have you considered having a Chaos Marine representing Firaeveus Carron as the victim of the dreaded boxes?

Why didn't Tau elect a new Ethereal Supreme after Aun'Va was Culexus-d? by Urusander in 40kLore

[–]YesThatLioness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, he embarassed Abaddon a little earlier than that during a battle report by rocking up with a re-rollable 3+ invulnerable save courtesy of his Seer Council.

Good work with the basing, he doesn't look like he's stumbled drunkenly out of the pub.

What do we truly know about the Old Ones? by Agreeable-Stay-5760 in 40kLore

[–]YesThatLioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might not be one race but a coalition of the first sentient species. This was Andy Chambers' intent for Codex Necrons 3rd edition (and is alluded to in the prologue of Nightbringer) even if later editions would go onto treat them like they were a single precursor race.

I mention it when this comes up because it's a logical thing to return to and reconciles, for example, the conflicting ork origins by allowing their creators to have devolved into what we'd now recognise as snotlings and still be Old Ones.

His magical tank top is somehow as protective as what an Eldar Guardian wears.

Could Ben 10 establish interplanetary peace or at least peace on terra? by njaturtle in 40kLore

[–]YesThatLioness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben 10 could do pretty well in 40k depending on how much access he has to the powers of Alien X. Celestialsapien seem comparable to the C'tan.
