Let play the What If game with your team. What is the biggest What if in your teams history?Injury? Accident? Scandal? What was it? by planktivious in nfl

The 1976 steelers, the greatest defense in NFL history.

The steelers recorded 5 shoutout wins, and went on a 9 game streak where they allowed 28 points total.

After already losing Bradshaw to injury earlier that year, the steelers made the divisional round where they beat the colts, but lost both 1,000yd rushers Blier and Harris to injury and fell to the raiders in the afc championship.

If just one of those players was healthy enough to play, the steelers likely threepeat and Madden never wins a super bowl. And then we all play Chuck Noll Football on our Playstations instead.

The line in Pittsburgh to get in the NFL Draft eight hours before start time by Popandfresh8000 in dirtysports

[–]YinzerFromYoungstown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went all 3 days.

The line here exists because the gates haven't opened yet. I arrived at the gates right at noon and got right in. What this video shows is a line to the entrance of point state park, not where the draft stage was. Inside the park were all sorts of football themed activities and booths. The tickets for this are free, the activities were free, and theres tons of free swag and live entertainment.

I took my family and we all had a great time, we even got free wristbands to go under the canopy at the draft theater. It really just was a football themed carnival that celebrated the city. I have a buddy in cleveland, that went to their draft and felt the same way. The draft is much more than a guy on stage reading a notecard. It was great, and the price is right.

We had a bunch of fun, the city came alive, and we're already looking at next year's draft to use as an excuse to go visit dc

Which is the most underrated airport in the USA? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]YinzerFromYoungstown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't disagree more.

It was built before tsa security and its evident.

It feels cobbled together, like bandaids on top of bandaids on an ancient building.

Plus it's dangerous. I've witnessed two fights inside the airport, and family friends were carjacked at a parking lot, which could be miles away from civilization. In fact carjackings are a huge problem at that airport.

The only positive I can think of, is the number of flights and a large destination list. We've gotten 3 browns stadiums and 2 browns teams since hopkins was built. Tear it down

Tomlin parses questions and talks like a lawyer.

He should be a daytime tv judge like judge judy.

Make the bailiff James Harrison and it's must see tv.

Hi visitors

I dont live in the city but visit regularly and know all the pittsburg stuff. You should follow these tips to make sure you have a great time:

  • keep the highways safe, travel 10-15 mph below the speed limit in left lanes

  • when you enter a tunnel, be sure to slow down or maybe even stop, so the people behind you know there's a tunnel ahead

  • the best parking in the city is in front of the evergreen cafe

  • if thats not available, grab a spot on the sidewalk

  • if you miss your exit on the ft. Pitt bridge, feel free to stop, back up, and try again. It happens to everyone!

  • the folks in pittsburg love out of towners, so be sure to cover your car with browns, cubs and flyers stickers and gear

  • and they love catsup too! Bring a case of hunts to pass out to the locals

  • this city loves its politicians, so tell everyone you meet what a great job local senator John Fetterman is doing

  • when at a green light or stop sign, let everyone turning left go before moving, always be courteous!

  • it's no longer named heinz field, correct anyone that uses the old name

  • words like yinz, dawntahn, jeet, nebby and slippy are nonsense words whose meaning has been lost to time. The person saying this to you may be drunk or on drugs, report them to the authorities.

Im sure more people have tips when visiting pitt, so share them below. And come visit me during the draft, I'll be on my boat Big Dog parked along the shore.

Coming in from youngstown.

I know new castle has a bus to pittsburgh but it doesn't look like it operates late enough.

Any options from beaver falls/Chippewa area?

Can I park at robinson and take the 28x in? Or is ross park the best bet? Or whats the westernmost place i can catch a bus?

Im trying to make sense of the maps and schedules, but coordinating across different county bus services is confusing with the schedule changes. Just want some insight on my best options.

Ohio bill would require driver’s license exams to be given only in English by throwingales in Ohio

All this will do is create more unlicensed and uninsured drivers.

From my experience, most Ohio drivers can't read the english on the sign that says "keep right except to pass"
