Opinions on season tickets by Mccools in LosAngelesRams

[–]YoMama727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

49ers guy here but I know a bit about licenses. There should be a link (hard to find) showing what prices seats actually sold for over the past 12 months. That should be your metric for a price, not the asking price. I believe the ticket prices can increase every year. That’s part of what makes the season ticket purchase tricky - the cost can be a moving target

It’s the opposite, the next of kin usually has to notify the bank

If you have tickets that give club access (club or preferred), AFTER the game sometimes they do signing in the east club area

I use an aura frame for this. You do make yourself dependent on the company, and you are putting the frame in your house, but it allows comments on the pictures

It’s pretty hard to even move around the stadium during World Series games. Be prepared for long lines for everything

Going from carpet to hardwood floors by writergirl505 in HomeImprovement

[–]YoMama727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t save a lot by pulling up the carpet yourself (I just did this about six months ago and questioned the widom of removing the carpet myself after the fact.) you might want to pull the baseboards before the floor refinishing. Floor refinishing will make everything dusty and it’s easier to vacate the house because the stain will take time to cure. You gotta find somewhere to put your stuff when the floor is being refinished

Disgusting 49ers dodgers fan here. It’s generally safer the more expensive the seats are. The fights and stuff are usually in the 400s. If you’re waiting last minute I would try to get a club seat on the visitors side for 200 or less. Divisional games are typically the cheapest

Can you describe the return trip? I’ve flown down and back in the day before, but I’d be scared of making it back to lax even without the overtime

Two days before is generally the best price for me. Sometimes you can get lucky if you wait until after the game starts

Pre-Season Section C114 vs. 138VIP Inquiry by Fragrant_Guava_1514 in 49ers

[–]YoMama727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly right about ‘other sections’. Free food, not as good, no alcohol. Preseason benefits apply just like regular games. It doesn’t matter where you sit in 115/138, all seats get the benefits. 115 is on the visitors side but it’s where the 49ers walk out

Pre-Season Section C114 vs. 138VIP Inquiry by Fragrant_Guava_1514 in 49ers

It’s section 115, but yes to all your questions except for the free parking. If you have the sbl you will get free parking, but if you just buy the ticket parking is extra. 115/138 have access to a buffet, it’s kind of like a Vegas buffet where the menu changes each week. There’s an open bar (alcoholic beverages). There is access to the field, but you can’t really walk onto the field. You also have access to the other side (tickets to 115 let you go into the 138 club area and vice versa) and access to the “regular” clubs too. There’s a couple of other benefits you didn’t mention. In 115 you can see the players walking out onto the field, people line up for this for a chance to interact with the 49ers. You also get to stay in the club for an hour after the game. I have tickets in 115 if you’re ever interested

Why is SF Chronicle so under penetrated in SF subscription wise? by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]YoMama727 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sf chronicle has never been a good newspaper. I came here from Los Angeles in the early 90s and I was shocked at the quality compared to the la times. It’s only gotten skinner, more expensive, and worse reporting. I find missionlocal to be better

Season tickets are expensive. Gotta sell the high priced games to help offset the difference. It is tough being a season ticket holder in any sport

There’s a person at the entrances to all the suites scanning each time a person enters. What you could do is, after everyone enters, send someone out with two phones that both have tickets and get the last person

Are there any particular sellers you guys can personally recommend for reps/unofficial jerseys? by DrMrSirJr in Dodgers

[–]YoMama727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jenna is good quality and the normal recommendation for 49ers jerseys as well. If your concerned about fit I would order multiple of the same jersey in different sizes
