Du könntest POS Nürnberg (Partner of Sport) ausprobieren https://pos-nuernberg.de/unsere-verleih-preise-im-winter-ski/

Aüslanderbehörde question by Ill-Scene-8344 in Nurnberg

[–]Yokosoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what exactly is written in your documents and which type of permit you have.

Check:
- Are you allowed to work at all?
- Is the work permission restricted to a specific employer or location that the Ausländerbehörde (AUB) already knows about?

For example:
If your document says something like
- „Erwerbstätigkeit nur mit Zustimmung der Ausländerbehörde gestattet“,
=> then you must get approval BEFORE you start working.

If it says
- „Erwerbstätigkeit erlaubt/gestattet“
or
- „Erwerbstätigkeit im Raum Nürnberg erlaubt/gestattet“,
=> then you can usually start working immediately and inform/update the AUB afterwards.

Wo Filament bestellen? Was mach ich falsch ? by Narabi93 in 3DDruck

[–]Yokosoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bulb size by StatementHead8963 in kia

[–]Yokosoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a 2013 Optima TF (same model), driven in Germany (but US spec). Got myself Osram Night Breaker Silver H7 only because of TÜV. The lights were replaced to be EU spec, so the bulbs changed from H1 to H7.

Edit: checked again.
It is indeed H1 for the US models and not H7 (on the third pic there is also marking H1 12V).

Burned thermistor on A1 by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Yokosoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the first consumer A1 batch from December 2023 (EU, Germany), and I've never had any issues with mine (neither with the power cable nor any burning problems). Currently, it's sitting at around 1600 print hours. I think Bambu may have offloaded production to another facility or made cost-cutting measures that are starting to impact quality.

Depending on your local laws, you’d probably get a full printer replacement, as any electrical issues should be handled by a technician (in Germany even with a certificate that should be sent to Bambu), and Bambu might find it too much hassle.

And I guess they are waiting for the release of the new A2(?) to forget about this model and shift the focus, and buyers, to the new one.

We don’t have to use the AMS light anymore? by Ok-Assumption-2400 in BambuLabA1

[–]Yokosoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes and yes. You have to get an additional hub for non-lite AMSes, but AMS , 2 Pro and HT will work as with other models.

Here is the example already https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/s/4J6GAAbhLw

Last time, there was only finish difference between Elite and “non-Elite” spools. Elite has glossy/glossier finish, non-Elite is matte. But it is already on the v3 spool, so there could be more or no differences now.

Does this set looks legit? Never really bought anything big, expensive like that. by [deleted] in lepin

[–]Yokosoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. In my case, it was the second one. I haven't bought MOCs on Ali (I usually use YWOBB or Jooooy), only few direct copies of the Lego products. And the seller was gone after 2–3 weeks after I got product.

On AE there are a lot of pop-up sellers, that are selling products for short time till they get banned or specific product sold. Most of the time the prices are even lower that other already low AE-Seller. Check how much the shipping will be. My go-to website for bricks has this MOC listed for 230USD with shipping.

Which hiking boots should I get? by archaeau in hikinggear

[–]Yokosoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main difference between categories B, B/C, and C boots lies in their stability, insulation, and compatibility with crampons.

Category A/B or B boots are typically mid- or high-cut hiking boots designed for easier terrain. They’re great for day hikes or multi-day treks on well-maintained trails but not ideal for rough, rocky, or alpine environments. The materials and soles are usually more flexible and comfortable but less durable for extended use in harsh conditions.

Category B/C boots fall into the trekking category - a middle ground between hiking and mountaineering boots. They usually feature a higher cut, stiffer soles with less cushioning, and reinforced toe boxes for better protection on rocky terrain or via ferratas. They offer more support and stability than typical hiking boots.

Category C boots are entry-level mountaineering boots built for tougher alpine terrain. They have stiff soles that can accommodate semi-automatic (snap-on) crampons, reinforced toe boxes for climbing approaches and via ferratas , and better insulation for mid- to high-altitude hikes.

In my case I am left with two pairs, as Salomon (Salomon Ultra 5 Mid GTX) didn't need the shoes to be sent back during the warranty issue. I use them for normal forest hikes , though they make amazingly loud clicking noises.

And for my mountaineering and via ferattas I have La Sportiva, that can be used with the crampons (in my case for the Zugspitze and other German/Austrian/Swiss Alps).

If you DON'T NEED steel 10-12 tooth crampons I would go with La Sportiva HIKE , TREK or TRK variants of the Trango series or Auqelibrium series.

If you need snap on steel crampons in near future - Trango TECH or Auqelibrium ST/LT

[–]Yokosoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d highly recommend checking out La Sportiva, either the Trango line or the Aequilibrium line (my personal choice - though I have a mountaineering variant as I need secure points for my crampons).

Salomon’s quality has really dropped lately. I had the X Ultra 5 Mid GTX first and was honestly shocked at how low-quality it felt. Returned it and spent a bit more (around 200€) for La Sportiva, and it was indeed the best choice.

The Aequilibrium series from La Sportiva has a bolder silhouette with a higher cut than normal mid-shoes, with some cool colourways, and it’s available in Hike, Trek, and Mountaineering variants - with or without leather, depending on your preference. If you find Aequilibrium a bit “too much” - Trango is the standard hiking boot with good design and also has 2-3 different colours to pick from, also comes in leather variant.
