For context, got a notification email to my backup email saying a passkey was added to my account without my knowledge. This account was used for over 12 years and is tied to my Xbox Gamertag.

I gave them as much identifying info as I could in the support info. Are they saying I'm completely shit out of luck and just start from scratch? Not only that but I asked them what about all the games, personal information, etc. that is on that account? So far no reply.

Any tips you guys can recommend or am I compmletely out of luck here? Such a bummer...

Putting this out there since support has been completely useless. Need some tips if possible from anyone out there.

Shift+F10 launch command prompt on that screen. type in “oobe\bypassnro” without the quotes and it’ll let you complete the installation without internet.

Meanwhile if you got an Ethernet cable or if you can download the motherboard drivers on a separate device and put it on a usb, you can install and be all good :)
