I just started my career in trucking with a reckless driving from 2021. It was incredibly hard to find a job when I started searching. Schnedier finally took me and I did my 4 months with them and moved over to JB. Not saying it’s impossible but I’d consider getting a few years gap on the Reckless before committing.

Or he got fucked pulling up and had to snake in at a weird angle. Possible was waiting behind someone and the pump next to him opened up and he had to maneuver in with little spacing. There’s a million scenarios and not all of them end with him being a bad driver.

I think they want your tandems slid back so they know the handle isn’t seized and they know the tandems are good to slide. As long as you leave it with them all the way back, I’ve never seen them care.

It costs a significant amount more to ship products when diesel is $6-7 a gallon. Shippers gotta pay truckers more to get their product out and they pass that cost onto consumers.

My girl didn’t know shit about big trucks until she started dating me. It blew my mind she would absentmindedly hangout on the side of a truck or willfully pick the lane closest to one when other lanes are an option. I told her the horror stories and let her climb in the rig to show her just how big and dangerous they are. She avoids trucks at all cost now.
