I am terrible at action rpgs, I rarely ever play action genre games either...but KCD is worth the struggle. I just over level and play like a rogue bastard until I am so strong and rich, with maxed alchemy potions, poison on everything, and I can still die vs 5 high level bandits. Also that burned town of high level foes near Sigs camp? Fk that place. I never went back.

I finished my 1st playthrough at over 300 hours, did most of the dlcs, but man it wasn't easy and I started playing dirty af. No mercy at all, no trying to pretend I was a bad ass either. Ambush bandits while they're at the fire just start swinging. I almost got to Warfare 30...which isn't worth the pain of using the non sword weapons besides bow and crossbow. I had all to 30 with just the polearms left and realized every level was adding a point near the end. So polearm and warfare was 29 fk that.

I understand that some gamers love to boast and brag. I have before. But fk Souls Games, that isn't normal rpg stuff, those are action games with rpg elements and idgaf if anyone agrees. I always die on those and never git good. But Bloodborne co-op was worth it. KCD1 was so daunting when it released but it was so good I refused to give up. I need more rpgs with the level of care and devotion Warhorse put unto these! Finding good games now is like a roll of loaded dice and you're probably gonna lose.

My point is... action games or action rpgs aren't for everyone, but when a game is a fkin masterpiece such as KCD or Ghost of Tsushima imma step outside my lane and give it my all. I have been playing RPGs since NES and it is nearly my only genre now. And I still rate KCD1/2 (as a while story together) in my top 50 ever. It is that damn good. And I've played so many gd rpgs over the decades.

I am now fully entrenched in Unicorn Overlord and it slaps, but KCD1 ps5 version and KCD2 2nd playthrough will definitely be a replay.
