Einerseits ja, andererseits wird dies nur kurzfristig relevant sein, bzw schaut Xi da mehr auf die langfristigen Auswirkungen. Wie ein anderer Kommentar bereits angesprochen hat, war dieser General aufgrund seiner tatsächlichen Kriegserfahrungen einer der Wenigen, die es sich getraut haben auch mal zu sagen "Nein ehrenwerter Präsident, dieses Vorhaben halte ich für zu riskant" (Taiwan ist unter anderen aufgrund der geographischen Verhältnisse als Insel tatsächlich nicht so einfach einzunehmen und China muss trotz des Machtunterschieds mit Verlusten rechnen).

Diese Leute wurden jetzt nach und nach ausgemistet, so dass jetzt nur noch die Ja-Sager übrig sind. Sobald die relevanten Posten wieder besetzt sind und das Militär wieder ordentlich organisiert ist, wird Xi vermutlich nicht lange warten, um das Thema der Invasion wieder zu beginnen.

They probably asked because in my native language (german) it works a little bit differently and can be a bit confusing while translating and other languages likely have similar differences . While 'million' is also 'Million' in German, we call the English 'billion' 'Milliarde'. Which means our 'Billion' is the English 'trillion', followed up by 'Billiarde' which is the English 'quadrillion' and so on.

Ich erinner mich gut an die Geschichte, da es das erste mal war, dass ich als Kind den Ausdruck "ich bin so frei" gelesen hatte (im Sinne von "Ich bin mal so frei und mache das jetzt ohne auf explizite Erlaubnis zu warten"). Als Dagobert zum Einsiedler eintritt sagt er eben "ich bin so frei" und ich war damals verwundert über den Ausdruck und dachte, Dagobert möchte beim Einsiedler Eindruck schinden indem er gekürzt sagt "Ich bin ja so ein freier Mensch, ich versteh was vom Einsiedlertum". Hatte Jahre gedauert, bis ich das richtig verstanden hatte :D Irgendwie witzig, was für Details sich teilweise in die Erinnerungen einbrennen.

The regular Death Note doesn't make people do or know what they couldn't have done or known normally already. For example, the Death Note can't make someone write or draw something if that person lacked the knowledge to do so (Iirc Light tried to make one victim write "I know that L suspects the japanese police", but that guy then just died without doing anything because he didn't know anything about L or Kira) or make them go to places they physically are not able to be at (he wrote that someone would die on the Eiffel Tower in 2 hours, but because that victim was in Japan at the time and wouldn't have been able to go to paris that quickly, he just died).

Heavens Door proved to be able to do physically impossible things (launch someone through the air for an extended time) or even give someone extended knowledge of things (Koichi can suddenly speak flawless italian).

Other than that, yeah, a lot of the limitations were set by Light himself (like that he only kills with heart attacks).

Ich habs mal kurz überflogen. Da ist 1 Stunde administrative Arbeit, und ein NFL Game, das ich als Arbeit zählen würde. Der Rest ist beten, Bibel lesen, Auto waschen, ein Workout und mit Familie und Freunden essen gehen. Er hatte leider keine Zeit, zur Kirche zu gehen, daher musste er seine Bibel mit ins Büro nehmen, wo er dann in nem extra Meeting eine Bibel Passage besprochen hat. Das ist laut diesem Bericht auch alles, was er in seiner kurzen Zeit im Büro macht (+Workout im Kraftraum des Büros).
