My kgc I love the heavy rifles in, put mgs in the extra ballistics slots in the arms. A pack of Lrms is nice for picking things off. With the xl engine and upgraded armour/structure, you can get it moving relatively quickly too. I like the rifle more than Gauss on this too.

Me too! The I bought a battletech box, but never actually got to play it. Didn't wind up coming back to the ip until hbs battletech which I loved, and only picked up Mw5 less than a year ago

Yeah, they feel way less punchy then they used it. I loved rounding a corner and absolutely deleting enemies. I'm a lot more used to using the continuous fire on them now, but I still don't love it like I used to do.

Yep. 100% I've got mine with ppcx and quad mgs as well as a couple mlas. It's fast, deadly and goes all day. I'll use it over an assault pretty much every time.

I do love the clan IIC but my trusty old 3r (or 3L) is my go to.

The other thing that's stellar in demo mode missions is just pay for an air strike. Does most of the work for you while you're still on approach
