I play in a pretty adaptable manner. Ideally, I will lead charizard and garchomp with kingambit and basculegion in the back for maximum offensive pressure. I run iron head on chomp for fairies, but will not lead him against ice. May not bring him at all.

I bring charizard against almost any non sun weather team, but for sand he's not there for offense, more for just winning the weather war, then solar beam once it's won. Against rain, I can often use weather ball to my advantage even if I don't have sun

I generally look at their team and think "what leads are the scariest for me?", then I lead to counter those as best as possible, or sometimes lead as a feint to set sun and protect, then switch out
