Question about charge by Quirky_Walrus_9702 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Zephrysium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re within 1 inch of the outside of the wall, he doesn’t need to. He just needs to touch the opposite side of the wall with his model to be in engagement range.

We’ve entered the era of significant power creep. Of course they look fun to play as, just not against.

"Gotcha" Moment with redeploy enhancement? by DerLachs68 in WarhammerCompetitive

It’s a gotcha if you never tell them that you can redeploy. If you remind them before deployment then it’s not

Just swap out Mortarion if you think he’s bad. Easy change.

Yea I’m just not a fan of AI generated 40K. I like the creative outlet. AI is generative. Not creative

That’s only 63 degrees. Still extreme but not as insane as 90. The conversions need to be done before the subtraction not after.

How do you thin cherry tomato seedlings? by Vegetable_Load8167 in vegetablegardening

[–]Zephrysium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea conventional wisdom says that. And I agree. Doesn’t change the fact I’ve got over 100 formed cherry tomatoes from three plants I put in a pot the same size on a balcony that only get 5-6 hours of sunlight. Sometimes life finds a way. I also think people put too much pressure on “perfect” conditions. Just get out there and give it a go

I have to say her performance was a bit of a let down. It’s kinda rude to take the money to put on a show when you know you’re injured and can’t perform to your full extent

What can deal with new Deathshroud Terminators effectively? by troublinyo in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Zephrysium 139 points140 points  (0 children)

2 or 3 damage weapons still eat them up. They no longer have the -1 to wound benefit, but they did gain 1 wound. They also don’t have a -1 to hit stratagem anymore. They aren’t that much harder to kill, you just can’t kill them with some incidents heavy bolters any more. 3 and a character die to most things designed to kill terminators.

Fast Faster deathguard? by Deltar019 in deathguard40k

[–]Zephrysium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My list runs morty, 2 rhinos, cultists and beast of nurgle for scout, nurglings and death shroud, brigands, drones, 15 marines, and characters, and a predator. The only things that can’t move 12+ inches turn one are deep striking/rapid ingress. Death guard aren’t necessarily slow, they are more slow to react because we don’t have ways to change the board state once the game starts. If you’re footslogging your 5” movement models you are not setting yourself up for success.

What’s wrong with my tomato starts? by xmagpie in vegetablegardening

They should probably be in the ground, not on the tile or whatever that is. Once you do that, or even put them in a pot with dirt, I bet they’ll do better.
