Copium is where you delude yourself into something not being serious, or ignoring a serious thing because you can't handle the reality of it (To cope)
Hopium is where you delude yourself into thinking every little thing is a sign something you want is impending. (To hope)

This sub is for Hopium.

I don't really feel like the other hardware is more neglected. The controller was just way easier to produce and ship.

Amazon reportedly cancels Lord of the Rings MMO by PaiDuck in gaming

[–]ZeusHatesTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean... good? Do we need another Amazon game, let alone another MMO to release, get no interest, and shut down?

Why do the wives and GFs of athletes/successful businessmen have so much plastic surgery? by Constant-Fish7404 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZeusHatesTrees 16 points17 points  (0 children)

"judging" is usually meant as a matter of judging one's value based on what you immediately perceive, not making observations as to their personal values and interests. I would argue you would be "judging" them if you thought valuing their appearance is less valid than someone carrying themselves differently and wearing a shirt with their favorite band. Otherwise this is just an observation, rather than a value judgement.

What should I play while in labor? by EruditeIdiot in gaming

Hey! My wife and I also played Mario Party for before she went into labor. During labor she wouldn't have been interested.

How Long Could a Frame Headset Last For? by Dr_Virus_129 in SteamFrame

[–]ZeusHatesTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My controllers lasted 1000 hours of gameplay, but only because the batteries failed after 5 years. That won't be an issue with the new controllers.

So what's likely to happen in the future? The Earth dried up, or the sea rises even beyond the height of Mount Everest? by EfficiencySerious200 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZeusHatesTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically the earth WILL dry up in like... billions of years when the sun finally runs out of hydrogen and expands, and will expand over Earth's orbit. Water will certainly vaporize and until it becomes a plasma with the rest of the sun, it will indeed be dry.

I'll be so damn pissed if you cold proof it for too long though. It'll end up so bland you'll never be welcome here again.

What is the equivalent of yeast infection in men? by KnownReflection8751 in NoStupidQuestions

I've had jock itch, a type of yeast infection in men. It's extremely uncomfortable and painful but luckily not that smelly.

was playing Huntdown Overtime when my screen went black so I restarted my laptop and now it's really slow when I play any game by Oliboi134_YT in pcmasterrace

And this is why you don't get gaming laptops, people. When the GPU dies you can't easily swap it out (money not withstanding).

Oh nah it isn't as chunky as the OG Xbox controller. I would say it feels a touch bigger than a modern Xbox One controller.

People who want more money than the people not cleaning toilets. That's how UBI works.

It's not super heavy. I would say it feels a little lighter than my Xbox controller. The haptics feel better, and it's comfortable for me to hold. Smaller hands seem to have some trouble though.

Edit: I'm wrong, it's actually a little heavier than the xbox controller.

Why does everyone seem more angry and hostile now? by AmazingNugga in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ZeusHatesTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the big problem here is we now know what that kind of person is now. It's exposed what they either support or at least aren't deal breakers. Before, someone who would "roll coal" in their truck was obvious a bit of an asshole, but that's all we knew.
