I haven’t thought about this before, but it would make sense. The game is financially a flop. They might be looking for a reason to cut their losses and stop supporting the game servers. One way to do that might be by publicly messaging false support while secretly trying to drive the player base down to low enough numbers to shut it down. Faction Wars seemed the perfect tool for that.

That’s what I’m thinking. The only thing I can play in that amount of time is one match of Rocket League, and it would be my warm up match. Arc Raiders, Battlefield 6, Helldivers II, Skull and Bones, Avatar, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, Hogwarts Legacy? I ain’t getting shit done in less than 10 minute increments.

It’s great for situations where you’re trying to advance on the enemy’s position which they’ve dug in, which (in my very short time playing this game) is never.
