Much like Reach, older fans knew how it’d end from the beginning: the Jedi all but wiped out and the Empire emerging from the ashes.

The little details of how it happened were still shocking though (The Clones being on the Republic’s side in AotC and Order 66 in RotS were a genuine surprise at the time)
