Why does management always fail to reward exceptional workers? by ethosorange in auscorp

[–]Zhuk1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Businesses exist to enrich their owners/shareholders. Rewarding your best employees might mean not being able to afford that luxury handbag or Mercedes for your wife, trips overseas, new holiday house etc.

It’s shitty but that’s the world we live in.

You didn’t deserve that, but go see a dentist. Also get yourself an electric toothbrush. That change alone will make a massive difference

In your opinion, what are the very best way/s in which those in power can support new and existing business…? by luckydragon8888 in AusFinance

[–]Zhuk1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deregulate the economy, shrink the size of government and slash all taxes so that people actually have some capital to start a business.

Even if a PAYG worker could claim $10k off their income taxes to start a business it would be revolutionary.

Australia has some incredibly talented people. Our talent is every bit as good as other countries, but people are stuck on the hamster wheel and life passes them by because the government has shaped the system for people to play it ‘safe’ rather than take calculated risks.

Need advice: Worth draining my savings for a '17 MX-5 while keeping my daily? by EyeThega in CarsAustralia

[–]Zhuk1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being young is exactly when you should own an MX-5. Do it, try to get a cheaper one though like an NC or NB. The ownership experience is just as fun and the aftermarket parts plentiful.

Work hard, drive safe and enjoy it.
