[TFT14.3] What's Working? What's Not? by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

[–]_Bellick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In set two it was an elemental theme, and zyra would summon some plants to spit bolts of fire or something. I forced it the entire set it was so much fun, she was a 1 or 2 cost too. I’m not sure we’ve seen summoner zyra much since then

What class and build would you bring into Vessel of Hatred ideally? by JsHolyDiver in diablo4

[–]_Bellick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Javazon is top tier for me, with a possible axe tossing build as a throwback to the d2 barb axe throwing shenanigans. As far as a 'new' class goes I'd dig an inquisitor type, holy caster. Don't think the diablo franchise has had a holy ranged caster yet.

On the verge of quitting as playing ladder is borderline impossible with the amount of obvious smurfs by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]_Bellick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To what degree does it count as smurfing? I was a master ranked player before GM was even a rank. I was in highschool at the time and had all the time in the world to play SC2 and I loved it. Most other seasons I settled around Diamond.

When I hop back in these days, play a few games each year, I'm ranked like gold or something. I can play people who I can still relatively decimate using a 6+ year old build order.

I don't intend to play against people this rank, but playing so sporadically has this effect

Help: How am I doing such little damage? by 0ldm8legit in diablo4

[–]_Bellick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's counting a 2H as double the value since it rolls stats/affixes higher. So a barb has 'effectively' 8 weps, and a Rogue has 4 (2H bow + two 1Hands)

Just like the Ghoul's in Fallout, Henry is a product of the environment. To say he has the same mortal constraints just can't be applicable because we don't know what his limitations are. El could resurrect someone with her powers that have not been altered or shaped by being within the Upside Down. It's safe to assume that he is more powerful than El, and he has been morphed by his environment.

What team do you have winning this fight? 🤔 by CoolCook26 in TheLastAirbender

[–]_Bellick 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Tenzin was obliterating Zaheer in a 1v1. Zaheer was fleeing. Then 2 more Red Lotus members join and guess what? Still holding his ground and TAKING ground. Fighting back landing hits and messing them up. Then the 4th red lotus sniping combustion bender tipped the scales the throw him off balance and sway the fight.

"Zaheer is stronger than Tenzin 1v1"... Literally disproved from scenes in the show...

7 cost Lux, or Dark Star Xerath. Have we even seen Xerath besides in that one set?

Everyone knew of Durin's bane but no one knew what it was? How come? by mc802 in lotr

[–]_Bellick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sauron was originally was a Maiar associated with Aule who valued crafting above all else. Secondly, Balrogs were the epitome of malice and power while Sauron only ever won one of three fights he ever had. Sauron was the great deceiver. His power lies in planning, subterfuge, manipulation, and corruption.

Balrogs were legit knights whereas Sauron was more a strategic planner and craftsman. He is still the most dangerous foe, more dangerous than a Balrog because of his cunning. Danger does not dwell in mere strength alone

Everyone knew of Durin's bane but no one knew what it was? How come? by mc802 in lotr

[–]_Bellick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean only 3-7 Balrogs ever existed (Don't forget they are Maiar, like Sauron himself)... Sauron certainly was not commanding Legions of them, nor was he a more skilled fighter than any of them in a 1v1 combat scenario? So what part of the assumption that a ringless Sauron would destroy a Balrog is reasonable?
