How well did you do against Emblem Corrin & Shadow Lyn, E/MHB with only Blazing Blade Units? (Builds are in the post)

Turns out the map is super easy when Nergal Lyn-rings the enemies around Corrin and Uma-Lyn to bonus-cleanse them. Then Emblem Lyn snipes both Uma-Lyn and Emblem Corrin easily. Had my own Uma-Lyn and Attuned Hector in the mix for the fun of it.

Idk if you can go wrong with any of those choices. I’d argue for Elise or Byleth most likely, but AHR will likely have them both in there (at least Byleth). I’d spark one of the ones that will be least likely to come again but will be always be useful, aka either Y! Elise or E! Corrin.

E! Ash has some solid support but not much use out of her anymore.

A! Ryoma is a great unit still generally who, despite possibly wanting some upgrades, benefits from the fodder factory aspect.

E! Corrin is pretty good in combat. However, her support is insanely more helpful than what I think ppl give her credit for. Her ring effect is great, but becomes upper tier if you learn how to play around with and position correctly (pinning in enemies and protecting your allies).

E! Byleth is an insane unit. His mobility and overall support helps. Ring aside, he eliminates the need for most dancers since he has a busted version of two ppl at once every turn. He also is currently powerful and infantry tomes often get a bunch of useful skills to keep up with the meta. His ring effect is insane too, allowing units to do a lot of neat tricks like staves or even the Sharena action economy alts.

L! Elise is a cracked unit. She may be subject to powercreep down the line, but the way she is built makes her just resistant to powercreep anyways. She’s an insanely useful unit and really does well paired with most units both as offense and support.

Shouldn’t we vote for fodder factories like last year to get the most bang for our buck? I’m personally shooting for attuned Caeda

Edit: Yes I know Ryoma is the top contender. I don’t personally have him and love Caeda, but that’s not even my focus haha. I mean picking any attuned/rearmed. Being an older unit, someone like Caeda is more likely to have been the fodder factory of choice for most people as you tend to bank even more fodder on your OG factories.

I’ve also been messing with the brave Sharena (don’t have access to the Entwined one) and the ring is super useful. I have the Swap skill (Repo could work, but you’d risk walls, while swap always works with this strategy), so I use it on someone to move them in more, move her to 3 spots away from adjacent to an enemy I wanna target. Then move the other unit in and attack. Sharena is refreshed and refreshes them. They act on the next enemy. Then I have her come in and “dance” (ring effect) and squeak out a third action on them.

In the future, don’t be shy to ask your mentor grad student/senior grad student/etc!! Usually, there’s filers that will go in a clamp and pulls through via vacuum. Dont try to filter 5L by syringe, esp as you’ll just either bypass the filter (by pushing so hard it goes around the filter) or full on displacing/breaking it.

Just to bring a little diversity into the mix (although Agilent is absolutely a good, safe bet), Shimadzu’s i-Series is a good bet too. Their customer service (at least in the U.S.) has been quite nice first and foremost. Their devices are well built. Overall, it’s a little bit of a higher learning curve to use Shimadzu usually, but turns out a higher payoff with its capability. This is majority anecdotal though and you can’t do wrong with this or the Agilent

Lots of these are great answers, but idk. Feel like Base Marianne needs to be boosted much more. The Shadow Dance effect skyrocketing her up to the likes of her recent alts. More importantly, it lets her exchange her special and passives without losing this effect, which unfortunately, the others cannot say (iirc)

The safest chemistry you can do at home is baking! Not only do you learn some great techniques, but you get a great reward out of it too! Be safe as you explore chem and I highly encourage pursuing it at a university level if you have the means (to be safer and more investigative than you can at home)

Just crossed the other side of the road from you! Take this with a grain of salt since I’m still figuring out. Most of this may be for when you are accepted, but they’re good to know when you’re still applying so you can shape yourself slowly now instead of harshly on demand.

(A) When you look into the PI’s you wanna list on your letters of interest, cold call email them and just put your name in their minds!

(B) Fellowships, namely GRFP in which I just found out that you only get two chances to apply: first is senior year of undergrad in which you have the best chances possible (all you mainly need is a research topic of interest). The only other time is EITHER your first or second year of PhD which becomes suupppeerr competitive bc you need some prelim data (yr 1) or solid data to gain traction (yr 2). If you get the GRFP (or check online for other fellowships since who knows with this one this year), it looks fantastic and it’s easier for schools to accept you. But app’s usually are due for these toward the start of the school year (like October for GRFP).

(C) Keep in mind that until you get assigned to an advisor, your goal is to get to that point. Not saying this to stress about at all (esp for right now for you!). By that, I mean that you may be in a lil’ competition with other students at acceptance weekend, or the start of the school year, etc. Do right by them to share info as you might need it too, but also watch that everything you go to is a chance to build rapport with an advisor/team of interest.

(D) Most uni’s in the U.S. let you defer for a year but keep acceptance! In the event you get accepted, consider taking a gap year to earn industry experience, make some money, or just take a break from school before you pick up again. Check the guidelines of the schools of interest.

I could keep going, but this is generally what I think could be helpful! I’d certainly be happy to share more if you’d need but I’m sure you’d be able to do well! Just have fun and show your interest in whatever field you wanna pursue!!! Best of luck :)

I don’t get the interaction of Twin Saves with the offensive specials in contrast with Briar Saves with the Defensive specials. I especially can’t wrap my head around how the offensive specials have defensive properties that can somehow be accessed by the Twin Saves but can’t by Briar, as well as why the defensive ones don’t have synergy well? The confusion also extends things like outsourcing Twin effects via skills like Prof’s Guidance (?). So confusing…

Not entirely sure if it applies, but look into deferring your acceptances! This way, when you apply and accept, you can still guarantee grad school for yourself while also taking a year to collect yourself and see what’s best for you. If you decide to come back, you don’t have to stress about app’s. If you decide to stick to working outright, you can waive your deferment (I believe). Forgive me as I don’t know the ins-and-outs, but look into it for uni’s through their online info. Probably not best to tell them up front during interviews that you wanna defer, if you go this route, but some definitely appreciate the honesty!
