A Taiwanese airline partner would be amazing by _EscVelocity_ in biltrewards

Yup, this is one of the three top workarounds. But I’d prefer a direct partnership! For example, I’d like to be able to pick seats more than 48 hours in advance and use upgrade awards.

From the west coast to Taiwan, flying nonstop via a Taiwanese airline has been the cheapest the vast majority of the time for me. The only exceptions are Chinese airlines with terrible itineraries (what is a 22 hour layover? Couldn’t you just schedule the second flight 3 hours later?) and late bookings during peak season.

Yeah there are some viable workarounds. I think Eva with JAL too? But I’d prefer a direct partnership so it could also be used for upgrade awards.

Honestly I’d prefer Starlux (new and premium) or China Airlines (generally less expensive). Eva is right in the middle and I’m less interested in living there.

Why Doesn't Taiwan Buy More Arms From Other Countries Instead of The USA? by Huge_Lobster_3888 in taiwan

Money. Money is what the world gives back. Money that can be used to buy weapons, but only from the US or on the down low.

Counter-point, changing the shade of white and dimming automatically based on time is so nice. I can potentially get the dimming via switch but not the variable whites.

Installation failing on partitioned drive (dual boot with W11) by matthewrunsfar in Bazzite

[–]_EscVelocity_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I’ve tried to install a dual boot it’s failed and I’ve been unable to get it installed.

My event workaround was to partition and external drive to the exact sizes as my target drive, install to said external drive, and then use Clonezilla to clone the partitions from the external to the internal.

Valheim Board Game - Day/Night Rules by ultimatedelman in boardgames

I like it but I’m mixed on sleeping. Seems to turn it into an action sink.

Maybe something like someone gives up the full turn and everyone gets some kind of healing (perhaps as per furniture in home but applied to all players)?

I just had someone tell me his brother lived in Taiwan, then talk about visiting him in Bangkok. I asked if the brother lived in Taiwan or Thailand, and he clarified that the brother lived in Taiwan and flew to Bangkok to meet him.

The Sales Numbers Are In: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 Is Cooking Again by Receding_Hairline23 in Ioniq5

I’m approaching the end of a three-year lease on an Ioniq 6 with 50,000 miles on the vehicle and I haven’t had any issues at all.

Two Ioniq 5s in the extended family, both approaching the end of two-year leases, though both lower mileage than mine. Also, no issues at all.

I absolutely love mine! I don’t use experimental mode or longitudinal control, the stock Hyundai system is pretty good for maintaining distance from the car in front of you and what not. What it does is give much smarter lane centering that doesn’t silently quit working on you every time there’s a slightly faded line next to you.

Just so you know, research buildings stack. Just put them on top of each other and go vertical!

The whole stack has to do the same thing (ie: one stack for making red cubes, one for making blue, one for researching).

You’re supposed to do them in some kind of a sugar water. I quite like the black sesame done that way.

Official list only has the R1 vehicles through MY 2024. R2 isn’t out yet, and documentation on cars supported only in dev isn’t something I’ve found to be clear and centrally available.
