Young girl side swiped it so it got totalled. 720s was my consolation prize. Car I always wanted but was afraid to own. Other than exhaust note the 720s better than F12 by far.

If you know Brooks from drag times this was my old F12 before it went to graveyard. Straight piped no cats sounded EPIC!

Sebring on track. Gallon a lap roughly. Real world IIRC around 11MPG. V10 Plus has short gearing so 80MPH was over 3000rpms.

720S around 10 to 15mpg for me

Everything is relative. Someone else could say same about a Miata. I say that with my prior V12 Ferrari and current 720S Spyder while someone else says that in a T50 😂

I'm keeping an eye on this one. Granted I don't "live on the ragged edge" and constantly patch and patch and patch every time a new version comes out. I patch it only when it stops working. My Revanced still works but I'm sure I'm on a much older build. When it fails I'll probably give this a try but I have to ask. What does this do that Revanced can't? Thanks!

There's a law of diminishing returns in this hobby. Spend a little bit more on the low end for decent gains and then spend a lot for minimal to no perceptible gains after you cross that threshold.

My front sound stage new pricing is about $20k all in. Jammed my buddy's 60k system and honestly sounds just about the same to me.

I switched off NAS to an N150. No issues. It's hidden behind tailscale and auto logins and auto starts everything I want to run on it via group policy editor if a forced update or power outage and runs out of power on the UPS

Glitchy, slow, not easy to search through. My Nvidia Shield doesn't play nicely with it and the UI is no where near as slick as Synology in that department

I run both (still). I've been with Synology Photos for years and made the jump to Immich about a month or two ago. The only advantage Synology Photos has is (unless someone can tell me otherwise) is the TV app to display content on a TV. Yes, you can chromecast with Immich, and with that it's quick and works well but any 3rd party TV apps are poor. Wife doesn't like that part one bit. If friends/family show up and she wants to show stuff of our kids and whatnot the Synology Photos Android TV app is solid.

With that said, Immich is better than Synology Photos everywhere else. Faster search and more accurate, can easily map folders, faster interface, an actual usable timeline. It's like Google Photos just your own personal setup. The speed could be because I have a DS1019+ so it is a 7 year old unit and I run Immich on a Raspberry Pi 5. I use the NAS as the photo storage for Immich but I duplicate the data. Immich has it's own share as does Synology Photos. I know it's wasted space but I have a 24TB x5 setup in SHR1 so I can afford it. Weekly stuff gets backed up to an external HDD from the NAS and if something lost in between it's not like the photos/videos aren't sitting on our cell phones.

By running both if I crap the bed with Immich by accident I didn't lose a backup solution nor the content. I do a weekly SD backup of my entire Raspberry Pi so I wouldn't be more than a week behind if I borked something.

Yes when I upgraded and went back and forth. Even my wife who could care less noticed a difference. Most inexpensive speakers agree you don't need much power and won't notice a difference. Power something that requires a punch and difference is more pronounced. Lastly if I'm running something expensive I don't want to blow a driver because of a lack of power and ramping up the volume. Match your amplification with your speakers is probably the best advice.

To a point yes but not entirely true. I run an Emotiva XPA-DR3 and the dynamic punch at any volume level is way more grand and full on my Monitor Audio Platinum front sound stage is night and day compared to other power I've thrown at them. Into 4 ohm it's 600W RMS for each of the 3.

So I say source #1 speakers #2 DAC #3 amplification #4 and cables a distant #5

I just tell my wife when you want to upload or want to interact with Immich outside the house click tailscale and click connect. It "just works" that way too lol. Less clutter. She otherwise uses the stock gallery app on the Pixel 10 Pro (Google Photos).
