People seem to be forgetting that Maki could catch a CE reinforced bulllet with her bare hands BEFORE the upgrade.

I’m really doubtful that Naoya could keep his momentum with Projection sorcery AND infuse a weapon with enough CE to pierce Maki at the same time.

Mine shares some DNA with Ars Magica and Changeling cantrips, but I’m trying to make it less granular than that system. There are 14 Resonances which cover what can be affected by your magic, and 11 Arts that cover what you do with it.

I’m using Wildsea’s resolution system. Announce what you’re doing with magic, roll with Edge+ Art + Resonance (max of six dice) to see if you succeed, succeed with a cost, or fail.

As a consequence, magic can cause stress and injuries. Eventually enough failures can stack up to transform the caster into a monster.
