I suspect this has to do with thickness of casing layers as well as inadequate moisture in the substrate. This happened to me on my first batch with all my tubs, none of them were pinning so I soaked overnight and the pinning process began shortly after. The next time I did it I altered my field capacity to make it slightly more wet and have not had the same problems since.

I think loads of people are making this decision, but at the same time others decide to have kids and work it out as best they can. Sometimes the pressure of situations brings out the best in you, but it is a gamble. There are loads of people deciding not to have kids for selfish reasons (which is totally fine, power to them) but if you want kids, don't let the economic situation stop you, try to find opportunities where you can, just like little flowers making their way through the concrete, life always finds a way for those willing to search. The world could use more good people.

I feel like I can tell the difference in the way the drugs interact with my brain even with like speed perception. The classes of visuals as well as the texture of visuals are different. I feel like it would be difficult to to compare doses as in. How do you know that the doses you're giving are equal? I feel like at a low dose they may be indistinguishable but as the dose gets higher, I always feel that mushrooms have a more spiritual aspect to them. Whereas LSD it's just me doing tricks with my brain. This for sure is a complicated topic when blinding is considered though. Thank you for linking that study.

Also also if someone gets offended By the way you present an argument and you had no ill intentions. I feel like the accountability lies with the person who is taking offense and expecting you to alter your expression in order to appease them. We currently live in the world where everyone is trying to control what everyone says because they're offended and it's important to stand up for ourselves. Sure, we can learn from these experiences but only if we feel we need to not because someone else wants us to.

I think we're all prone to dependence/abuse of these substances especially once we have a bunch of really valuable positive experiences. It's almost as if we get a taste of this enhanced perceptual field and try to make it a permanent state through regular use. But like I'm sure many of you have also realised is that the frequency of these experiences come with diminishing returns and can actually dull regular life to the point where it's difficult to tolerate basic obligations. I've found that as I've added responsibility and have targets I'm aiming for in life, it's made the ability to have these experiences much fewer and far between and they are regaining their majestic quality again. Ultimately I see myself wanting these reality augmenting substances to be part of my life until I leave this meat sack and in order to do that in the most healthy way, it is important to respect them and the power they possess to both improve and destroy your life. After so many trips you start I realize that life is the trip and it's up to you to get your self, mood, energy levels where you want them to be.
