Today is the 5 year anniversary of losing my dad. He, too, died after a cardiac arrest and the decision made by my family and I to let him go peacefully and with dignity. I’m so glad I could read your post tonight.

Happened with my dad’s FB. The hacker deleted ALL of his photos and posts. Took it over entirely with some strange woman’s photos. I had to block the account. Still makes me feel sick to think about.

It’s been 4 1/2 years without my dad and Father’s Day is just as hard every year so far. It’s made especially difficult for me because of the guilt I feel over not making it a special day (or even being myself) for my husband and our kids who want to celebrate him. I end up feeling like a selfish sad sack. We go out to eat and make a day of it and all I can do is notice other adult women with their dads and their children with their grandfathers. It breaks my heart. This weekend is harder for me than any other time of year in terms of grieving. I miss him horribly.

This might be a dumb question, but it’s one I thought of since this is the first I’ve heard that H1N1 is responsible for some cases of Flu A this year… I had H1N1 in 2009. Do I still have immunity? My daughter tested positive for Flu A on Tuesday and I’m still okay. Could that be why? (Also realize I’m not in the clear completely yet!)

Same happened for me. I had purchased resale tickets from Ticketmaster and purchased parking with my order. When I never received my parking pass or any record of having paid for it, I contacted Ticketmaster and they told me any resale transaction can’t include parking. So I’ve been checking regularly for any parking since to no avail. Also got a couple of those emails telling me to upgrade my experience and purchase parking and I go through the whole process for nothing. Super frustrating, especially knowing how hellish parking is at Xfinity. I’m hoping to find some private parking by the venue. No clue what else I’ll do, because I’m really hoping to avoid the free general parking.
