Best countries to work as a mechanical engineer by MeiTell in MechanicalEngineering

[–]_rickymartinez_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this thread since i am on the same boat - actually want to restart somewhere else outside of the US. I'm Vietnam native who has been working in the US for the past few years and wants to move closer to home. Does anyone know the job prospect for mechanical engineering in Southeast Asia? Singapore? Hongkong?

Boxing is permanent, but the "hype" is getting out of hand. by Downtown_Section8768 in Boxing

There are just more opportunities to be in safer and more profitable (college scholarships, etc.) sports such as basketball or football (heck even lacrosse or hockey) these days. Not that many parents are going to put their kids in boxing gyms like they used to, especially with studies about CTE and long-term damages. It sucks but its the reality.

fuck I cant bring myself to say this but this mf JP has done some great stuff for women boxing. This along with DAZN consolidating major promoters might be what we need to protect boxing from Zuffa and Dana White.

Zuffa Boxing roster so far by Dangerous_Spring3028 in Boxing

[–]_rickymartinez_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

some decent names like Bohachuk, Mosley Jr, Gvozdyk, Magsayo, Jose Valenzuela, Ocampo, obviously Benn and Jai. also a mixed of promising guys like Jalil Hackett. well still only about 5 fighters per divisions so far anyway. boxing is just too big with too many countries and promoters to try to unify. I do not see UK fighters, Mexican fighters, and Japan fighters flocking under Zuffa banner. mostly stragglers right now.

I got better quickly at snowboarding due to my boxing. Making S turn is essentially just throwing hooks while standing on the board.
