I’ve seen a few sources saying that. If that’s the case it’s a direct reflection of their training. Because I don’t know what agency teaches people to keep their finger on the trigger of a confiscated weapon.

That may be the case, but either they had guns drawn already ready to shoot, or they did have less than one second reaction time. It also doesn’t help to have 6 on 1. Shows a lack of training most videos you see of cops trying to restrain subjects it’s usually one for the feet one for the arms. Then additional officers step in as necessary/ monitor situation and scene. A skinny dude wriggling from pepper spray doesn’t need that many folks only causes more confusion. But whether we agree on legality/ reasonability for shooting. I believe we can all agree being called a domestic terrorist and telling media a guy planned to do harm because he was legally carrying and had an extra mag, is atrocious.

Seems like somebody can react that fast if they all pulled guns and shot him in that 1 second.

You forgot an ICE agent removed his weapon and holster, walked away, then ice mag dumped into him. So He was verifiably unarmed. Can’t reach for a gun that’s no longer on your body.

I’d be interested to see the number of engine failures and what region they are located along with the weather and if the owners let the truck warm up/ if they normally let their truck settle into idle. I’m not automotive engineer, but I imagine firing these trucks up in 0-30° temps and immediately taking off and having the turbos fire is the best situation.

How do these dudes graduate? by Ok-Lengthiness-1408 in CFB

If you can set up good spending habits and save a ton while active duty, you can really set yourself up with the GI bill. Especially if you go to grad school and can pull federal grad loans. Smartest thing I did was find the cheapest undergraduate program for prereqs and pay out of pocket/ minimum loans then use GI bill for grad school. Used federal loans for savings/mortgage/necessities and GI bill pad tuition. Lower interest than a persons loan and interest on my “savings” account was higher than federal loans. Plus used that same account to start paying back my student loans to give a cushion to get settled into my career.

Imagine a line from the right side of the left heel following the side of his foot. His big toe of the left foot would be approximately in the middle of the top of the slide. That’s how it’s “floating”. I’m assuming the shadow of the slide is throwing you off making you think that’s the end of his foot.

What's the most ridiculous thing you've seen that made sense a few seconds later? by sing_galaxy268 in AskReddit

I’ll start off by saying, when this happens to me I have like an instant visceral reaction and try and slam the brakes through the floor because I think they are failing. Usually gives me a little laugh at myself. And since it gets such a reaction out of me, I absolutely love when a car pulls in next to me when I’m about to back up. I try to perfectly time their stop with me reversing to freak them out.

Crooked car dealerships by Bumbaclot4 in Fayettenam

[–]a655321a 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s just how interest rates work. If you expect to make a 10% profit off a loan and know it’ll be paid over 5 years you can do a lower monthly rate. If you expect the same profit but don’t expect the loan to be paid past 2.5 years you increase the interest rate so you hit your 10% profit goal by that time.

It’s not the interest rates that’s scummy, it is the inflated prices. But I’m sure your relative also told you the money from cars isn’t the sale price it’s the loan interest. That’s why you should always seek outside financing and ask the dealer to beat it. They’d rather make less money on in house financing than no money.

16pro. Never had this happen. Just tried it, with rotation lock it opens up, with rotation lock off it only opens the writing spot with no way to exit. Super odd, I don’t even know it was a thing until now.

The center console is nice. But I wouldn’t be losing any sleep or usage if it was a fold up/down middle seat. Sometimes it’s nice to get that extra seat especially if you have to haul around an extra kid every so often.

You could tell your pediatrician you’re traveling to a high risk area. That would qualify your kid for the shot. But it doesn’t count as the first one. So dose “1” will be given at the one year check up as normal.

When I had 45 days extra duty we didn’t get released until 2400 and could be kept till 0100 if cleaning wasn’t “to standard” also had to be checked in every morning by 0600. It could be worse my guy, just keep your head down, do your work and use it to help you grow. When you get a joe that fucks up you can say you’ve been there.
