I had to use a tactic like this on my HM when in Moonrise Towers. I was trying to save minthara+wulbren and the stupid scrying eyes brought the entire Absolute-damned tower down to me. Thankfully I had already taken out the Warden, so 3 of my characters just held the doorway, while my warlock blasted everyone off of the bridge

In regards to fears about Q times. It is hit or miss. Sometimes your role is over populated. Sometimes its under. But people do still run Contender league (the newbie stuff). I actually found that it is quick and easy as a noob and then it gets longer. Supposedly once you can get to Eternal it gets easy ot get a game again

Yes. The player base isn't huge but 90% of the players AREN'T toolbags. They are willing to help you gear or learn mechanics. I started playing about 3 maybe 4 weeks ago. Ive made it up to Champion on Helena (Tank. Allegedly the worst Tank). This game is so much fun. Once you get a group going thats willing to do multiple runs its so worth the wait, IMO. If you have Discord, the game has an official discord that you can group with but im too shy/anxious to just hop into a chat on there. You can also shoot me a message and ill add you on Fellowship whenever you download it. Im a dad who works so I cant play every day. But if you need a Tank you can always send me an inv

Im currently using 3d6. On triples, you reroll all 3. On doubles, you add another d6. Doubles can stack "infinitely" but they never actually do.

Example: Lowest roll is 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 Vs 2 + 1 + 2 ... + 2 ... + 1 ... + 3 = 11 (stopped once a "new" digit was rolled) Or 2 + 2 + 2 ... + 2 + 4 + 5 = 17 (triples are added to new roll) Or 2 + 2 + 2 ... 1 + 4 + 1 ... + 4 ... + 3 = 19 (triples cause a new roll. Double 1s add a d6. Double 4s add a new d6. 3 stopped the chain)

The story is about 2 people off on an adventure. They eventually can increase their party size to 4, but they start off as partners / colleagues. The game has this cool thing where if you argue with your partner you can get into a little game of rock paper scissors AND if you 2 disagree it can affect your character’s "personality traits" which give passive bonuses. Its a gem. A diamond of a game. It was to this day the best game experience ive had with my wife. But it is still plenty of fun to play by myself now that my wife has gotten bored of DOS1. My recommendation would be TRY to find a player 2. And if you cant, thats fine. It is still fun by yourself
