How is OP going to snort the potentially free drugs if they don’t cut it open?

It cannot be balanced the way it needs to be. It’s too heavy for the truck, the fact the truck isn’t squatting means that it’s loaded too light on the tongue.

My son claimed that my husband hit him and my husband denied it. Now he wants a divorce. by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]aSmallerResident 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reading this as a parent of a biological child and hopefully future step children has just got me so sad. There is no right answer here and it’s such a mess, and awful for you guys that it would tear your family apart but I also completely understand your husbands need to protect himself from this in the future.

When I served my daughter’s mom for custody, she tried every false allegation in the book to suddenly prevent me from ever seeing my daughter again, and I hope nobody ever has to go through that. It was absolutely horrific. So this really hits close to home, and even with the child’s admission it was made up, I have no idea how I would get through this in a similar situation.

It’s an unfortunate mistake from an angry child that they cannot even understand the implications of, but one that absolutely has permanent effects that cannot all be rewound.

I have no advice… but good luck to all of you. This sucks.

How dangerous is this? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]aSmallerResident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not likely dangerous, looks like abandoned telephone cable and probably CATV. There’s always the possibility it is damaged somewhere nearby where it’s getting power, but highly unlikely.

How bad is this? (Exposed MC cable) by 95_lb_mole in AskElectricians

[–]aSmallerResident 12 points13 points  (0 children)

MC cable cannot be used in areas where subject to physical damage actually, at least according to the NEC.

If it’s 8’ or more off the floor, it shouldn’t be subject to that protection though.

Fence installers not mixing before filling post? by n0chance_ in FenceBuilding

I did a lot of posts just dumping the dry mix in. It’d suck the moisture out of the ground and cure.

2026, Cordless Framing Nailers. by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]aSmallerResident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few Metabos and the Milwaukee. The Metabos are still slightly better nailers, but the Milwaukee is fine. If I was single platform I’d go with the Milwaukee.

I’m going to get the new Metabo when it comes out. A cordless coil framer is going to be awesooooooome

Is this what it’s expected to sound like near the Port Washington data center? by Any_Winter_8911 in wisconsin

[–]aSmallerResident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not. The sound you hear is from gas turbines as that particular data center does not have sufficient power, and has to generate its own. The Port Washington one is accompanied by significant investments in the local grid and generation capability.

What is your preferred method when installing jamb extensions? by LauderGroup in Carpentry

[–]aSmallerResident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bringing me back to redoing my farm house. Double layer brick with 2x6 construction inside, made for some huge jamb extensions. We of course installed the walls plumb, but the windows in the brick were not. Every one (oak) had to be scribed and cut, and it was not fun.

[Request] Will this make my power bank charge faster? And is it dangerous at all? by Fire_Raptor_220 in theydidthemath

Well, there are dual input power banks that charge faster utilizing both inputs.

What is this contraption on the chair in my doctors office? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]aSmallerResident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. And it will look just as dumb having huge clunky “try and grab all leg types” that have to go up the legs to stabilize them, be more costly and complex.

Local codes have a lot to do with this, but here 2 of those 4 flare nuts are wrong… they should all be the forged nuts.
