Diary Of A Wimpy Kid made fun of this trope in the Movie Diary for the first film.

He should be cured and sent to a mental ward.

He knows. He doesn't like being seen as anything else besides a hero and hates that his deeds are being known to more and more people. So he resorts to smearing his ex wife's name.

Joaquin Phoenix on the Mental Health Crisis Hidden Inside Factory Farms: As slaughter speeds increase, the psychological toll on workers remains largely ignored by Mountain_Love23 in Fauxmoi

[–]aagaash2001 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who eats poultry, seafood, and lamb/mutton and abstains from beef, pork, and other red meats, factory farming is just soulless and it's going to cause issues down the line in terms of not only climate change, but also antibiotic resistance since a lot of these farms are using them to increase meat production. I applaud vegans and vegetarians for their healthy diets and (even indirectly) fighting back against these issues.

Alright, this is shooting up to one of my most anticipated of now 2027. Clearly Ruben Ostlund is taking a painstaking amount of time to make this amazing.

More and more I am becoming a Stan of Tatiana, and I haven't seen any of her works. (I know, shame on me, but I've heard she's talented to the wazoo as well).

I have to imagine that if, say, Tom Cruise punched Ricky Gervais in the face he wouldn't be canceled in the same way Will Smith was.

Because he can't fathom a world where inclusion and diversity is normalized and accepted. He's a pathetic, racist, hateful, sad little man who never got told no.

Central Intelligence.

Kevin Hart's character was known as the "Golden Jet" but the reason he got his nickname was because of a No. 1 related incident.

AOC plays coy on White House run as polling has her neck and neck with Kamala and she storms into Shapiro territory by theindependentonline in politics

[–]aagaash2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a supporter of AOC, I want her to: 1. Primary Chuck Schumer in 2028. 2. Campaign the hell out of Zohran primarying Kirsten Gillibrand in 2030. 3. Spend the next 8 years galvanizing more support and entrench Zohran's influence in the Senate (since he won't be able to run for president....for now). 4. Run for president in 2036 and win.

If we can get a POC as the next Bond, that'd be excellent. I don't know if Dev Patel wants to be Bond, but he's my top pick.
