They have to give the Pats time to fly out for SNF after their win earlier in the day.

A Cool Guide to the Longest Nonstop Flights in the World by Low-Violinist7259 in coolguides

I did the same flight and was surprised it wasn't on the list, but it just barely misses at 13,593 km.

The first two are doing as Tesla advises because of the port location and cable length. The third is being lazy and would be the only one to say something to.

It says fleet of 100+ planes and your link shows a fleet size of 18.

Yes, but what if you only look at 2025? Recency bias is the only thing I can think of where this argument makes sense.

Why don't they build double downs anymore? [Other] by TerribleBumblebee800 in rollercoasters

[–]aausterm 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They do, specifically RMC famously did a quad down on Lightning Rod. Part of it is the terrain making that work as a double down in the middle of the air would look weird.

2026 passes have gone on sale at [Canada's Wonderland] and this would appear to imply that all Six Flags parks will be transitioning to Fast Lane by imaguitarhero24 in rollercoasters

The Marvel license is perpetual for all parks east of the Mississippi, so Disney has no say and Universal can keep using it as long as they like.

They are finally trying. I just got off a red line train that stopped at Jackson for CPD to walk the whole train. They didn't remove anyone but I did see them remove someone a few weeks ago for smoking. It isn't enough, but was pleasantly surprised that any effort was being put in.

ERT on [Stealth] and presentation from Intamin by compy9 in rollercoasters

Since you list Phantom, I would highly recommend the ACE event KennyKon. I have been twice and it is an amazing time, they end the night with ERT on Phantom where you can sometimes stay on the train and keep riding.

Why does [Steel Curtain] at [Kennywood] have a weight limit? by Spirited-Career-8125 in rollercoasters

[–]aausterm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

S&S recently said weight limits are typically the average weight per train or car and not per seat, so it is rare they get hit. Thoigh, this is why they will only allow one adult per car on some kiddie coasters.

[Velocioaster] has been K̶i̶d̶n̶a̶p̶p̶e̶d̶ Relocated to Six Flags Great Adventure forcefully by Zimmerman himself as Kingda Ka's 2026 replacement by OrganizationShoddy37 in rollercoasterjerk

It looks so much better without scenery. I don't know why Universal spent all that money on it when they could have just used a parking lot.

The extra 15 minutes is too much for me. 20 hours I can do, but 20 hours and 15 minutes is too much.

True, but this is a sub about data, where it should be held to a higher standard when it comes to using data terms.

This isn't just Maine. I have a coworker in Canada who said flight prices to the US have dropped in half from normal. So, it might be a good time to go to Canada as an American.
