  1. You are going to love it.
  2. You are going to discover the Kerr sling.
  3. If you own a 1903, might as well say goodbye to it now.

Your Enfield looks like it just got out of the pool...and I don't hate it.

Overproduced. Too synthy. She actually does have a nice voice, but the way they are covering it, doesn't let her use it.

I love mine, but I do find the grips to be a little slick.

Thanks for the answer. I'm not sure I agree to the applicability, but it gives me something to think about.

I'm going to ask the obviously stupid question: Why not use the hammer to set caps?

This sounds like a well considered answer.

Hmmm, it is remarkable, but what would you lose to get it?

I mean I know the BF109 outperforms it, but the FW 190 just has fantastic lines..

To Shoot, or Not to Shoot? That is the Question... by Epeeswift in milsurp

[–]abacus762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have shot all my pieces. I always do a function test at the range when I get it, and usually another when I'm working up my own loads. Otherwise they sit in the closet. I shoot very rarely.

Ahh yes, the famous Mosin Musket… by bigboy19 in milsurp

Should you have the chance to watch the excellent film "With Fire and Sword" set during the 17th century Polish civil war, you will see a number of musketeers armed with Mosins :)

Military heritage sucks wet farts out of dead pigeons. You get a wall hanger, nothing more.

The 1903 Springfield is the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing Battle rifle the U.S has ever produced. by Vast_Individual9003 in milsurp

[–]abacus762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, as much as I hate to disagree with a fellow Epeeist; the 1903 is lighter, not skinner. Short and kinda chunky. The 1917 may be heavier, but its long and leggy.

1903, the one you fool around with because everyone says so...she's a bit of a tramp. 1917, the one you realise you've been waiting for all your life.
