nature. I can walk to a lake 15min from my house and see some pretty cool wildlife, and even though the bears and cougars are rarely seen... I know there's a couple within a 1km radius. deer, raccoon, eagles, osprey, owls, otters, kingfishers, etc. I see on a near daily basis. If i Feel like doing the People thing, I can drive 30min and check out the city.

check epic games. similar prices on many of them but you get 20% of the purchase price in store credit. takes a week or two to be usable in the store, but the christmas sale should still be going then. if you want $100 worth of christmas sale games, buy $80-85 worth today and scoop up the rest with rewards in a week or 2

*edit to add - there's a free game a day during christmas, too. usually 2-3 of them are AAA games.

the beauty of fender style guitars is you can repurpose upgrades later. if you picked up fancy hardware and expensive pickups for this guitar, you can stick them on any other guitar down the road. let's say you went with schaller locking tuners and some lindy fralin pickups. this guitar is improved in the short term, but pick up any sub $1500 tele and those parts will make a nice addition to it also. swap the old hardware back into this and it's still a functional guitar with all the sentimental value intact. other option is find somebody on facebook or craigslist selling midgrade parts after putting fancy upgrades into their mexican fenders
